2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I imagine she talked about how great they were for the economy. Really does not matter as, whatever she said, there would need to be hearings and Judicial Watch would have to file some lawsuits.

Keep them GOP contribution checks rolling in!

As always, can't answer the damn question. You must be a paid supporter of hers.

I answered your question. I'm guessing that for 200k she didn't exactly come in and yell at them.

Would you pay someone to yell at you? No you wouldn't. I'm sure she praised them and that's why she doesn't want them publicized.

I hope Bernie shuts her down tonight.

I agree with you there. Ought to be a community by community thing. She is pandering to the Hispanic community, just trying to appear to be friendly to their causes.

Maybe her theory is that if you keep ignoring the distinction between legal immigrants and illegal aliens, then you can brainwash people into seeing both groups as legitimate. Makes it so much easier to phase in a whole new block of Dem voters. Keep them broke, keep them on the dole, and make them beholden to you.

That is what I seem to be noticing from the left. People complain about illegal immigration, and the left in turn tells them they hate immigrants. Immigration and illegal immigrantion are two very different subjects.

Is there any other country that has such a tolerance towards a mass influx of people that have not gone through a process to become citizens?

I am sure you are right.

As to Bernie, he's already been saying she's too cozy to Wall Street. People are either voting based on that issue or they write it off as part and parcel of being experienced.

Do you want someone who has been there, done that, and can make the rickety old rusty trains run on time? Or do you want someone who hasn't been to the station before to stand there and scream at the top of their lungs that the trains suck -- and then be carted off for a mental health exam?

Because that's what the choice is. Both Sanders and Trump would spend four years trying to make sweeping changes and ignoring all of the infrastructure and issues in place. You may think that is what is needed, someone to go in and shake it up.

You, like they, are dreaming.

I would take Sanders or Trump over Clinton. You pick anybody else on either side and its par for the course.

Good question. Certainly Belgium is paying for catering to immigrants without seeing that they become assimilated. Probably many parts of Europe will be doing the same - some of that may be colonialism coming back to haunt them.

On the other hand we are granting citizenship to babies born here to aliens - both legally and illegally here. Many countries (including several European countries) either don't do that or have changed immigration laws and no longer grant citizenship to babies born of non-citizens. So we certainly appear to be of the most tolerant variety.

There is nobody that can "make the trains run on time."

I'm convinced the republicans and democrats have zero intent on ever addressing US govt spending and are going to do whatever they can to keep things as is till it blows up. It's as if they've already admitted defeat.

I'll vote for a person a who wants to find solutions. You go ahead and vote for a person who knows how to use the problems. Settle for your rusty trains.

Saw this today... He'll backtrack like he always does...shoot off at the mouth then try to justify it by denying it

That just makes him a politician with training wheels. The graduates all know how to say something without saying anything - harder to accuse them of saying the wrong thing. In the end it generally goes away anyway; just ask the people in the other seven states.

This moderator is drilling Hillary on the speeches

She doesn't have a good answer to that question because it doesn't exist.

Probably smarter to not release them, though. Trust and transparency isn't a big issue to Hillary voters so they probably don't care about it right now. They could if there's something bad in those speeches.
