I can't tell if you're pulling a Tommy Smothers on me. If you are, that's really funny.
PS: I understand if he's Tommy that makes me a dick.
punny...
When the Vols improve and he is on a NC team, his stock will rise due to being a critical part if the success I expect us to achieve.
Your right nothing of that magnitude is easy.
Jump higher Vols.
I think staying healthy and having a good combine will be bigger for Hurd than numbers this year. He needs to show that he can withstand the beating a back his size will take and that he's athletic enough to continue producing at the next level.I agree his stock will rise. Hurd is a very good RB. But, and I am no expert by any stretch, I just don't see that top end speed that Fournett and Chubb have. I thought Henry was faster than Hurd.
IMO, Hurd would have to have a monster season to go in the first round. I think somewhere around 1700+ yards and 16+ TDs. Now he has the talent to do that but with Kamara and Dobbs getting carries, I just don't see a chance for that type of production.
Friday Top 10: An Early Look at 2017 Pro Prospects | Rocky Top Insider
10. OL Dylan Wiesman
9. OL Coleman Thomas
8. DE Corey Vereen
7. QB Joshua Dobbs
6. RB Alvin Kamara
5. WR Josh eMalone
4. LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin
3. RB Jalen Hurd
2. CB Cam Sutton
1. DE Derek Barnett
Let's hope most of these juniors stay for their senior season. Most of all Hurd and Barnett.
by the by:
Tannehill threw for 3744 yards and 29 touchdowns his senior year.
RG3 threw for 4293 yards and 37 TD's.
Dobbs best full season stats - 2291 and 15 touch downs.
so yea if he adds 1500 yards this year minmum and another 20 touchdowns I guess he will go first round.
You guys should hold your breath.
PS: I like Dobbs great college QB, great leader, and a greta represenetive for the university.
For some reason, a few posters think that if we don't agree that Dobbs is a future first round pick, we must not like the guy. I love me some Josh Dobbs and the guy is one of the best advocates for the program and the university, but I just don't see him as a first round pick.
Absolutely.
Unlike y'all I'm not afraid to be wrong. I'm just really smart. So it rarely happens.
That's cause you guys aren't as good as I am in evaluating NFL talent. I'm simply trying to educate y'all but you won't listen. After the 2017 draft I'm hoping you'll respect my projections more.
Not sure what you're basing this on but I hope you're right!

All I've learned from this thread is that D4H = Iam4utalways
