It is possible for a president to stand on his principles and still work with his opposition to pass his policies, many have.

With the majority of the GOP and all the Dems despising Cruz, how do you think he can get any of his policies through Congress?

Why back someone that policy stances you support when that candidate cannot get those policies passed?

I didn't think Congress was needed anymore?

For my Alabama VFLs, please vote yes to Alabama Constitution Amendment 1. The **** is worded funny and a vote of yes will get rid of the free retirement program for Judges, District Attorneys, and Circuit Clerks of the State. A vote of yes, would require those individuals to pay into their retirement program.

just saw an article on that - typical Alabama

Screw them. Make them get a 401k & an IRA like the rest of the country

Not an option currently. This amendment (yes everything is an amendment to the Constitution in AL - it's insane) will lower the state's obligation for an under funded pension - save about 10 million a year. Unfortunately you have to vote YES that you want to have a pension fund for the MFrs so it will probably fail and we'll still be on the hook for the whole thing.

Morons.

But he's too "boring and won't excite the base". And by that I mean: he's not a crazy person

I'm still disappointed by him. Each time he has had a chance to shine in the debates, and be the voice of reason and talk policy, he just says "Look ..." followed by about 30 seconds of seemingly random words.

I don't know if its a prep issue, or he just loses focus when the camera is on him. But here's a cool game gif.

What's amusing is watching the media try to chip away at trump's support.

The David Duke debacle is absurd and 100% manufactured.

And now CNN has an article titled "Black students escorted out of Trump rally" and starts the article implying they were escorted out for no reason. Then almost to the end refers to them as part of a student protest.

They also have near the top of their headlines analysis that Trump cannot beat any Democratic nominee.

Let's continue to make Kasich the victim of a stupid electorate as we rewrite the facts regarding his terrible campaign!

As far as the average American voter, who is like a country bumpkin who has just set foot onto Times Square for the first time, is concerned, you're probably right.

I've been a Kasich supporter since October, and that was due to a combination of hearing him sound like the only adult in the room at the first Republican debate and by then following that up with some simple Internet research.

I didn't need no fancy politicking to convince me. With information technology so accessible nowadays, I find it even less of an excuse for Americans to still be so grossly misinformed and so grossly misguided, simply because they're like little kittens who focus solely on the string being dangled in front of them instead of the big picture.

I don't claim that the media actually likes Trump, other than that they won't him to keep winning so that he can stick around for ratings. But you seriously don't find anything bizarre or alarming about his comments concerning David Duke and the KKK? His response to that fiasco was one of the dumbest things I've seen him do, and that is culled from an impressive list of one dumb thing after another.
