The audio recording may include audio of Trump that raises questions about whether he plans to follow through on his promises regarding immigration, Buzzfeed News reported Monday.

New York Times won't release off-the-record tape of Trump | TheHill

If this is true, as Ted Cruz charges, that is the one thing that will severely damage Trump's presidential campaign, and severely piss off one hell of a lot of people.

So, in order to make sure Ron Paul never happened again, they basically handed the election to Trump...in the very next election. Hilarious.

Looks that way. The GOP/RNC just can't get out of their own way and, I believe, are quite likely going to lose the most easily winnable presidential election for the second time in the past two election cycles (assuming Hillary doesn't get indicted).

Nonsense. Trump will get a 5% bounce from this.

So I assume after today..its Trump vs Clinton? I think Trump wins every state but Texas and Hillary wins all but Vermont and Mass.

SIAP - but this article sheds significant light on the Trump campaign strategy and playbook.

How Trump stole the South from Cruz

David Perdue's insurgent Senate candidate success in 2014 is serving as a template for Trump's 2016 bid.

The South was supposed to be Cruz country, the states holding primaries on March 1 that would serve as a firewall for the Texas senator’s primary campaign. But Trump’s walloping of Cruz in South Carolina two weeks ago, due in part to him winning the evangelicals so critical to Cruz’s success, is likely a harbinger of what’s to come — and evidence that this region, for decades the backbone of the modern Republican Party, is not a monolithic bloc but a place where changing demographics and deep frustrations offer fertile soil for a populist outsider, even a Yankee who lives on Fifth Avenue.

Tells you what people are thinking about political correctness. Most everybody I know is sick to death of it.

You don't think voting for a guy who tweets made up racial statistics is a bit of an overreaction to your distain for political correctness?

I'm also curious:

So many of you hate Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson for their race baiting....why do you never call trump out for his race baiting?

Election day in Tennessee today. I wasn't able to vote early as I normally do so I am going to vote today, God willing.

I have given this a lot of thought.

John Kasich is the ONLY one of the group that is qualified to be President of the US imo. I am hoping he does well on March 15 and his campaign take off.

I will not be voting for Kasich today because a candidate must receive 20% of the vote to receive any delegates. He is still polling <10% so I am going another directions.

There is zero way I can think of that I would vote for the Canadian, he is by far the worse of the group. I honestly think Hillary would be better than Cruz.

I don't think Rubio is ready for primetime. He is a one term senator who hasn't accomplished anything in the Senate. We have one of those in the WH now, so I will pass on him.

Carson should have dropped out months ago.

That leaves Trump. I am still very undecided on him, however with the group remaining he is the best of the worse group of candidates I have ever seen run in one election. The Dems and GOP both are bat shat crazy this year.

I am not thrilled about voting for Trump but against the Canadian and little Rubio, Trump stands head and shoulders above both.

Screw your guys who fold like carbboard when the slightest left wind blows. Your guys run away from a fight because they don't want to be disinvited from the cocktail parties. The establishment continously folds on every issue. These guys have done NOTHING for us despite is giving them the Senate & House. It's time for someone to stand up and that guy is Trump.

BTW. I don't have a problem w/ PP handing out condoms and providing checkups. I do have a problem with abortion and it's because of us, not your politicians, as to why PP is crumbling. We have been the ones highlighting the evils of abortion. It was our guys who uncovered the filth there, not your politicians

Just make GCB happy by writing in Anderson Cooper since I switched my vote to Foghorn Leghorn.

Pretty shocked that you're voting for Trump Gramps. Even if Kasich is polling <10 it's better voting for him than a flaming moron. haha

Actually, the more pertinent question along these lines would be...

How is Trump planning on identifying and rounding up said 11 million+ illegals without turning this place into a complete police state?

And furthermore, how does he plan to hold them until their deportation hearings? And finally, who gets to foot the bill on said detainment facilities as well as custody and care costs, travel to the border, additional judges, additional enforcement officers, etc?

"Papers please."

Nah, I am actually voting against the Canadian. I will be glad when today is over with. I will not have to look at his arrogant face every few minutes on Knoxville TV. Cruz and Rubio both have spent a ton on Knoxville media, Cruz more.

I thought you were on the Rubio bandwagon? I have not read all the postings made in last couple of weeks,I aM behind on VN current events. :)
