Really needs to be a trade down for picks with the Titans. They are like swiss cheese for holes in the roster. There are a half dozen OT's graded in the first and early second rounds. Amy sounds like she has bought into the need for an elite one to protect MM, so they won't trade back very far if they do at all.

Titans will be guilty of draft malfeasance until proven innocent based on their history.

Don't care how they go about doing it, but protecting Mariota has to be priority #1 in this draft. Keep the guy healthy and happy. They also need to operate under the assumption that they will quite likely have another top 10, possibly even top 5 pick in 2017 as well.

Not much you can do there.

I do understand certain resentments towards football or athletics in general because often non-athletes don't get the same benefits and that beef is fair, imo, although a bit overblown as things have gotten better in that regard (it's not like the old days). However, it sounds like that's not her beef either but the student activities fee which covers all athletics BUT also goes towards funding guest speakers and many other things. If you point that out, she may change her tune a bit.

I've stated this elsewhere, but I shall once more considering I'm just as frustrated about being last in the SEC currently as the next Vol fan.

If you think about it, it makes sense for Jones to hold off on any public commitments currently. With all of the negative attention we're receiving, he'd do well to let it blow over before building this class.

If you think recruits are hearing negative things about us when a rival school hears they're considering us, can you imagine what they'd tell our public commits?

Because a MASTERS in that field doesn't pay off financially. If she really wanted to be a great social worker and needed that masters, she could finance out of her own pocket. My sister is a nurse and knows that many administrators and heads of programs came from my niece's degree ALONG with nursing. This forces her to broaden her horizons a little bit. In any case they've spent a ton...they should be able to pick and choose what for.

Barnett is an elite complete DE...he can defend the run very well and is an elite pass rusher off the edge or from the middle. NFL teams will drool over him, and I think he is picked before Garrett.
