Other possible reasons that don't have negative connotations:

Wants to spend more time with his family.

Taking on a larger role in the AD for strength and conditioning for all sports.

Personality conflict between he and the team.

Butch just looking for a different perspective.

The list goes on and on....

I will stick to the rumors about the players and the evidence we have of so many injuries until we hear the "real" story.

Any report that comes out will be a nice company line that doesn't mean anything really

Ignoring (for the moment) her reason for termination which is well known here...

UT like every other college and university doesn't change quickly and is extremely bureaucratic. What it isn't, is biased towards any one group.

Bureaucracies can be frustrating as hell. They rarely respond to what an individual thinks is a great idea on how to change things, especially when they believe things are working. Bureaucracies are impersonal and that can turn a lot of people off but it's not directed at anyone.

She makes the claim that Hart disagreed with her and thought she was overly punitive and that doesn't surprise me at all. Not because of athletics but because the university does not like punishing students too severely -- students are there to learn and are at an age where poor behavior can be corrected. UT is not and never will be a true court system.

Serious issues should be handled by real courts and alleged victims have that option and the option of pursuing both.

If an alleged student-victim wants the kind of court room justice that is severe they need to press charges. You won't find the type of 'court room style' justice some seek at ANY university as that is not the role of university discipline.

tl;dr - It's easy to get frustrated or become disgruntled when you work at any college/university as large as UT. This is universal.

In fairness, the only ones who have a legit reason to hate on the football program are those in the nursing program. They have Saturday classes and aren't allowed to use the parking lots they normally use.

She formed those opinions before her switch to nursing. Her career goal was social worker/counselor. She wanted to get her masters in that. My sister and brother-in-law refused to fund it. When he just recently fought prostate cancer, their daughter had a revelation.

Dude is the total package. Big time 'it' factor for me.

I could see them going Tunsil, but I think Ramsey could be the best player in this draft.

Can't go wrong with either of those 2.

Ramsey is an impact defender. Tunsil kinda scares me a bit. When I saw Barnett give him hell with physicality I kinda lost a bit of love for him as an elite LT. Ramsey is an elite Safety to me. And would do well at CB too.

This is the Titans we're talking about. Even though there's new blood in the front office, I'll continue to think they'll find a way to screw things up until they give me a reason not to.

I wouldn't be surprised if they pick Carson Wentz or Jared Goff.

Edited: I'm asking why they refused to fund that particular field assuming they would fund some other field.
