I was considering taking it one step farther. But I hate when people do that. Somebody would surely complain. I also hate when people complain about people doing that kinda thing too though. So that would have its own uprising of complaint posts too I'm sure. But to be honest, what I really hate is when people complain about all the people complaining about people taking jokes one step too far. That one really irks me, ya know?

....

And don't even get me started on those folks that always end up complaining about the jerks that complain about other people complaining about jacklegs like me taking things too far....

It's madness really.

So.....stop complaining. :)

Bruin would end up ordering quinoa and pineapple pizza with no sauce if you left it to him.

So... You want to ruin pizza too Bruin? Congratulations. Now you are the same as San Francisco in my book.

Is this seriously the summary from the War Room? If so, then it may not be so far-fetched that Lawson will be fired, especially when team leaders are coming to Butch and expressing dislike for him.

I got a peek at the War Room...couldn't copy and paste. A lot was about Hart and the approach to the lawsuit. I sifted out the football tidbits. There was a post concerning Butch and the team leaders on another forum...it wasn't from any legit insider.

I deal in civil cases on a daily basis. Tennessee is a modified comparative negligence state meaning that if you are found to be 50% liable for whatever the tort action is you are barred from recovery. You can be 49% at fault and your recovery be reduced by that percentage. The plaintiff attorneys want it to settle however I'm sure they could prove Tennessee a % at fault in the courtroom which would still get each person a little money and I bet the headlines would read "victims win case against UT."

I take it you're not a lawyer--(1) because you conspicuously didn't say you were and (2) because modified comparative negligence has nothing whatsoever to do with a lawsuit alleging Tennessee violated a federal sex discrimination statute.

Just saw the Charles Davis tweet in support of Butch. Great to see, want to see more support like that from well respected former players and/or media members.

Butchna what did that forum say about Butch and the team leaders? Or was it some FF type post? Thanks!

There's a poster that practically pastes The War Room on that forum. Another was quoting the Szerszen info and added "Also from a very reliable insider, he said that Butch went to team leaders over Lawson and they wanted him gone, supposedly hated him". So about third or fourth hand information? :dunno:

Yep saw that too. Charles going to bat for Butch will go a long way.

Was it Bruce Feldman who was a huge supporter of Butch at the time he was hired? Can't remember who, but I remember it was a big name national guy. Whoever it was, they need to step up as well.

Charles Davis was at the first Specialist Camp Jr attended almost 3 years ago. He was with his son and being shown around by a coach. They passed within a few feet of me in the end zone of the indoor field. I didn't say anything to him because it sounded like a trip for his son (I get that).

They stopped right there and were admiring a huge picture of the team running through the T. Charles says to his son "there's no greater feeling than experiencing that". He said "it moved me to tears every time. Why would any kid who witnessed that moment not come to UT?"

Charles Davis is a VFL

He somewhat did on the Finebaum Show this week. He mentioned remembering a video shown to the team by Butch and being moved by how much he cared for the team. He was talking about noticing Butch went the extra mile to make certain his kids didn't get in trouble.

Violent crime rates for all universities. Yeah the culture at Tennessee is so bad that it ranks 9th on this list for SEC schools behind Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas, and Missouri.

Penn St had 119 forcible sex crimes. Next closest school had 89.

Tennessee had 19. Florida had 40.

This is precisely why all major college athletics want UT to fight and win this.

I posted when FSU paid the Winston accuser that Pandora's box was opened.
