There is never a good time for something like this to go down. But in reality we could not be farther away from 2017 signing day than we are currently. This bad press may keep kids from jumping on board temporarily. But the coaches have almost a full year to prove to the next class that the culture is good at Tennessee. That will reveal itself over time, and luckily we have lots of that.

The coaches will be pushing harder than ever to sell what's great about this place. Lots of playing time to sell in this next class too.

Winning helps too and we're about to do lots of that.

Looking for silver linings here.

No, that's a good point. If the lawyers were really smart and knew how stacked TN was with HS prospects, they would have filed this in January 2017. Haha, dummies.

Sam where ya been?!

Not doing connect the dots, I can tell you that.

Haha. Nah, I've been around some. Not as much as usual. Have a lot going on, church, family-related stuff (trying to plan a house build), work, kids, the election, etc.

Of course that's nothing that can't be put on hold to scroll through a billion pages of ignored posts from i assume bruin

Lol. Yes it got bad. I think Bru may have fainted or he met his internet data quota and they came and whacked him in the head.

Well your levity has been missed. I've tried my best but... Tag you're it. I'm tired.

Haha. Well i actually had a joke I thought of earlier that made me literally laugh out loud. And I wanted to post it so badly. But I wasn't sure how it would be taken; I thought some people might have been offended or had their feelings hurt or whatever

So I asked my wife and my brother, and they both said I probably shouldn't. So as difficult as it was, I refrained from posting it.

North measured in at 6'2 223lbs, long arms( 33 3/8) and big hands (10 1/4). Nice size although I think he is 2 inches shorter than what he was listed as. 4.6 would be good for him.

Maggitt hasn't weighted in, but I think he will be faster than 5.0.

I'd be surprised if Maggit was slower than the 4.8 range. Idk about his top end speed, but in the first ten yards I'd say he's probably as good as just about any other OLB/DE that runs. And the first ten yards are where a 40 yard dash is made or broken.

Racist humor isn't as embraced as it once was. :good!:

Yikes

@MattSlovin: Holly Warlick asked point blank on postgame show whether the team has quit on her: "It would appear tonight it did." #LadyVols

Wow! So she's actually admitting that the team has quit on her. Unbelievable! I guess she has Lady Luck, because as LAVol said, there's no way Hart will fire her with all of this other stuff going on. It would be a bad PR move, which stinks, because if she stays another year, it will set the program back 5 years. Our only hope is that she loves the university so much that she steps down on her own.

Not sure if you're being serious or not. But it definitely wasn't race-related at all. Basically it referenced an unfortunate accident that happened to a public figure several years ago.
Anyways moving on...

Some rumors out there that the loser of next Tuesday will drop out and announce vP bid with the winner between Cruz and Rubio.

Last night those 2 certainly stayed away from attacking each other and from the looks of things last night those rumors seem possible

Wrong thread my fault

I was talking with my brother that the culture has so distorted everything that for me sometimes it's hard to tell what just seems wrong due to political correctness, and what actually is wrong as in sinful. Because the latter I definitely don't wanna do.

David refused to lay his hand on the Lord's anointed king, and I told God, "If you are going to deal with this man's character, it's not coming by my bitter hand."

Drae has an incredible amount of power here... in the truth and the lie. I have no idea which one is the truth, but I hope that he does not let the temptation of that power lead him to take vengeance on a situation where he has harbored bitterness.

Nick, I'm not sure I'd make a parallel between "God's anointed" and Butch, but I really appreciate the spirit of your advice. If your travels ever bring you to Budapest, please let me know. Would love to hear more of what the Lord is doing out your way.
