I meant to say This sworn testimony sounds believable.
Naughright has changed stories more times than my wife changes clothes before going out.
The bad perception of UT is already out there. Guilty or not, which I don't think Butch said this, it's another shot at UT. This will only become worse, if UT does not settle. The "reports" will become more and more heinous.
So wait, why is Bowles changing his story? And how do they have testimonies with police if the evidence is being kept under wraps?
Just saw this come across my phone...apparently new sworn affadavit/legal filing in the case.
I'll try to update with link, but just came across my phone.
UPDATE: Lawsuit: Tennessee coach Butch Jones called player a 'traitor'
It also says the coach broke the attack up before it began, does it not?I never believed his story and I don't see how anybody that played football would believe that players would not be upset enough to try and at the very least intimidate Bowles.
Put yourself in his position, at least two people have said he betrayed the team, one of them admits it...if Bowles says Maggitt or any of the others assaulted him he has no chance of keeping his scholly. Then he's shuffled off to another Tennessee school in a matter of days or weeks...of course Jones said that had been in the works for months.
Two victims said a member of the coaching staff was at the second "attack" on Bowles and we now know who it was.
It also says the coach broke the attack up before it began, does it not?
I'm not sure how you can tell one story in the court of law and another in civil. So as of right now Drae Bowles is a liar and it would appear he's now stuck his hand in the cookie jar.
