Is there a reason I shouldn't like Clay Travis? It seems most on here dislike him. But the way he fought for Manning makes me really like him. He also kept it real on the Mizzou stuff when that was going down.

His latest tweet to Shaun queen about donating 20k to a charity of his choice if the results prove he is black was outstanding. I put my name in there to donate $20 because my white privilege check hasn't come in yet. Twitter is fun

I thought he was funny on 104.5.

Let's face it, UT fans are a pretty easy target if you want to ruffle some feathers. We are hypersensitive.

That's his thing. He crushed other fan bases too. Said Ky and Bama were the dumbest fans in college sports. Alabama where 95% of their fans had less education than next years recruiting class.

Clay is a bit abrasive and a pig but it's okay. Just not my flavor. He's got a cult following though. I like other sports' personalities.

I did always appreciate him calling out the lap dogs in the Nashville media. He said no one ever questioned Jeff Fisher and just pandered to him. It was not fair to not ask hard questions according to him. And he's right.

Very true. He probably is a douche but that doesn't mean I dislike him, it's just his personality and the way he comes off.

What I don't understand and maybe a lawyer can help with this question- Clay Travis is presenting a very good question here that NO ONE else is bothering to check- she signed the affidavit saying there was no contact and then several years later there was a completely different story. And those are the docs being presented now as fact in the media. Everyone keeps saying why doesn't Peyton address this but apparently he can't because she will sue him again for the umpteenth time. That doesn't seem fair to me- he is being potentially defamed in the most public way here and IF her version of the story is fabricated in the 03 version compared to the 96 version, can he not sue Her for defamation or purgery or something? Is he supposed to just stay quiet while his reputation is being ruined by the day? It's on people.com now for goodness sake.

Manning is probably taking notes on who is saying what.

If he signed a document saying he can't talk about it or he opens himself up for a lawsuit, he can't do anything about it. Now his wife suing her, might be a different story, but I don't know if that's possible or what the Manning's would even want to do.

Geez - and I thought streaking was harmless back in the 70's. People sure have changed. Back then they set up concession stands to make a buck when the festivities were under way.
