Supreme Court Justice Scalia has passed away

This is a rational assessment of the implications of Scalia's demise, as it relates to the Second Amendment.

I get tired, however, of absolutists who claim this or that will inevitably be the end of the 2nd Amendment. What does that even mean? This country will never outright ban all guns. It's asinine to think it ever will, whether ye be conservative, moderate, or liberal.

Of course not. The military and cops will still have them.

They take it a piece at a time. First it's "assault weapons" then magazine bans, then why do you need those pesky automatics anyway when a revolver will do. Do you really need six shots when a single shot will do? Who needs an auto-loading rifle anyway? Bolt actions work perfectly fine. And those lever actions hold too many rounds. A true hunter doesn't need more than a single shot, so bolt actions aren't needed either and they weren't included in the Second Amendment muskets anyway. And who need a thousand rounds of ammo?

You boil a frog by turning up the heat on a cold pan of water. You take away gun rights a little at a time.

Right. And they'll slaughter us wholesale, I'm sure.

No doubt they'll try.

What do you think they'll do?

Which restrictions will come true?

If you don't think they'd do anything, then why is there so much liberal crying about guns?

My post said nothing about them not doing anything. My post said them banning gun rights altogether. I know there are many who hate guns, but, last I checked, congressional and state support would have to come to get rid of this right, would it not?

Oh, you got me!

Crazy gun-hating lib that I am exposed!

You serious?

I answered your questions in the post you just cited; now you're demanding I write an essay or book to provide further justification.

For f sake. I asked questions regarding what will be limited. You aswered nothing of the sort. Who said you're a gun-hating lib? Damn son. Calm down. Answer what will be limited after a liberal SC finds the 2A doesn't exactly apply?
