Because its prevented the 9 or 10 biggest metropolitan areas from having complete control over who's POTUS. Remember, we were not set up as a democracy thankfully.

But those area control each state. iL is controlled by Chicago.. Everyone else in the state for example is dictated to..

How many times in history has that made a difference? I know of one, but I feel like there was a second.

1888 and 2000 are probably the most striking examples of this. 1916 came extremely close - a margin of under 4K votes in CA gave Wilson the presidency, but even if it had happened he would have won the popular vote by almost 3%. 1876 counts too, but that election was an utter mess where the Democrats traded the presidency for an end to Reconstruction. And 1824, where Jackson won the popular vote and electoral college but didn't get a majority, leaving it up to Congress, who chose John Quincy Adams.

The Ponzi scheme of social security is no laughing matter. The other Bernie is in prison for running what the loony Bernie wants to expand.

The number of workers that fund current retirees is reducing. The Cap on Annaul FICA contribution will be removed in which al income is subject to the tax not just the diet 118k...of course the govt will piss that extra money way as well

I really enjoyed how Bernie brought up mossadegh and the CIA and British coup on Iran during the 50s. Iran had the opportunity to internally turn into a democracy, but US/UK self interest in regards to maintaining power and oil in the region were more important than allowing Iran to convert from a monarchy to a democracy. 20 years later Iran eventually has a revolution to overthrow the king and is now unfortunately a theocracy. Imagine how different the state of the Middle East would have been if the British and U.S. did not interfere at the time. Imagine how different the Middle East would have been if Iran was to be a democracy, rather than theocracy.
This is a tired argument. It's like people that still bring up slavery and reparations. In the case of Iran, a small portion of the populace was around then. To attribute any current angst to that is disingenuous.

Umm what about us backing Iraqs invasion of Iran during the 80s? Are those people not around anymore either?

Another one bites the dust. Gilmore has dropped out. This post is for the few that knew he was in the race. :)

Was it for getting into a fight with Bob Barker?
