I'm bored. I'm going to ask a question to hopefully start some discussion.

Assume we would run the same offense and defense as we are currently running. If you could bring back one VFL in his college form to play on team 120, who would it be?

Oh Shuler is a good choice

Love Peyton but, Shuler is, to this day, the only jersey I've ever bought. My favorite UT QB ever

Husband and I attended that game. You could hear a pin drop in that stadium.

Btw, how is little Ashlee doing? There may be an update in her thread but might as well ask you in this thread.

She's doing good, thanks for asking! She had her best echo of her entire life after the last surgery...hoping and praying she's finally healed.

@GoVolsXtra: UT has self-reported 18 Level III NCAA violations since May according to a report obtained by the News Sentinel Mon. https://t.co/liFOZKDvED

Speechless that cbj waving to the crowd at a hoops game is a violation.

The basketball violation is interesting. Countless similar violations happened on NSD especially with kongbo

That's awesome news. Great to hear. :hi:

Regarding the bolded, are u kidding me? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Smh.

Cam blows. And he's a loser. And a poor sport. And a piss poor role model.

That is all.

Wowzers.......

Peyton didn't even shake hands after the New Orleans Super Bowl.

What makes Cam a bad role model? Man doesn't run around getting in trouble. He walked out of one press conference. But he smiled and shook Peyton's hand on the field.

I agree he was a poor sport.

I disagree with everything else in the post.

Great post BB.

I like both Peyton and Cam. I think both are humans and have/will continue to make mistakes in life. Nobody is perfect.

We have a habit of judging people in their worst moment.

I live in Alabama and watched Cam play almost every game (on tv). I really enjoyed his year at Auburn and the national championship they won. (and coming back from down 24 against Alabama in the Iron Bowl was unbelievable)

It was clear to me that he would be a good NFL quarterback from midway through that season. And he was always well behaved and gracious.

Having said that he will have to win with a little more grace than he has shown, and a lot more grace when he loses. But he is a bright and talented young man, I believe he will do both.

Al Wilson is always the correct answer

Lol. I had bb on ignore for a while. Took him off recently. Remember why he was on ignore now.

I like his takes on football.

This subject has him frustrated though. I know I'm sick of hearing about it. (National media)

I don't blame Cam for his celebrations. I don't care for them as I've said because it's a team sport and I hate the look at what I did mentality when in reality it took 10 others for him to score that TD. That being said I blame the NFL. They encourage these outlandish, unsportsmanlike, theatrical presentations by allowing them. Many sports have taken a page from professional wrestling. They've seen the popularity from it's gained from outlandish public spectacles. NASCAR, Hockey, Basketball, they all havve adopted tolerance for this form of showmanship. It's not my cup of tea but it obviously is for a lot of folks.
