Peyton has a lot of baggage that got overlooked because social media wasn't as big of a deal as it is now. Peyton would have been raked over the coals for the incident in college, he would have been put on blast by everyone in 2010 if Twitter was as big as it is now, Unfortunately every athlete is under a microscope now and people like Cam, Lebron James, Bryce Harper will be under a microscope and scrutinized for every little thing in this day in age. Is it fair? Hell no!!! But It's an example of how social media has changed things.

How???? Peyton didn't shake Brees hand after game. Instead called him on the phone. Excuse: I didn't want to push through the crowd.

Cam Newton: pushes through finds Manning and congratulated him. Walked off on the media.

Sportsmanship is displayed between two TEAMS. Not the media, how black and white is that for you to read. My goodness take off the Orange shades. You teach kids to shake the other teams hands not the damn fans or media.

Peyton has done the same thing. He would be screaming at O-linemen for missing assignments, or getting in the face of receivers who ran wrong routes... EVERYONE does it!

Man is an emotional player. How would you act losing the biggest game of your career? Dude doesn't lose big games. Like I said he'll learn from this new experience.

Cam is going to win a few rings, the story isn't over for him!

He's the same age as me. If I would have lost that game, I would have been crying uncontrollably, theres no way I could have been in front of the media.

Agreed Cam doesn't owe the media anything.

Disagree that not shaking hands one time makes someone a bad sport.

Cam has a pattern of showboating that some find unsportsmanlike, which I get even though I don't necessarily agree. He's an attention hog and therefore doesn't get as much of a pass when he does things like walk out on the media. People who show humility during the game often times get a pass for questionable behavior after the game. Right or wrong, that's how it is.

I say screw the media, 1/50 questions is actually well thought out, and they don't deserve to hold players/coaches captive if they're not going to ask intelligent questions.

They asked him put into words this loss and how it feels. He answered and they asked it three more times. Stupidity at its finest.
