Not saying in anyway we pass on this kid but I'd be careful what I asked for if I was him. The way this staff recruits we may screw around and sign someone just as good or better.

I'd honestly think 2 is plenty this year. Granted I had Higgins, and Rodgers as my top 2.

Maybe Fant now jumps onboard.

No... it just means that Butch will have to put the full court press on Higgins now which I think means we will still get him in the end but also means that time and effort will be spent securing a kid in our backyard that could have been spent nationally. That's not good. There should be no doubts right now about where a kid from Oak Ridge is going to play football. We need a GREAT season.

Kid is in our backyard. He likes UT, and I don't think there is much doubt about that. I don't mind him de-committing if that forces our staff to recruit him just that much harder to ensure he comes to UT. But, for now, I'll check back in about 6 months.

There should be no doubt. When you don't focus on instate talent every year, it can lead to this sort of thing. Hopefully we get him back in the fold.

Well at least now he will rise in the rankings. The recruiting sites love the uncommitted guys when determining 5 stars. It would be unlikely Tee ends up a 5 star of he's a Tennessee commit for 2 years.

NSD 2017 is LITERALLY a year away. Chill out.

I hope and think he eventually ends up here. This staff recruits really well so either way I know we will have a great class and will have great players.

Not worried in the least. Plenty of time to rethink it and come (again) to the correct decision to be a Vol. if somehow he doesn't, oh well, Butch will go get another stud. Just how it is.
