'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Not gonna lie, the fact that he did this in the wake of a visit to Clemson is concerning.

Glad we still have a year to get him back. Need to win games, and I'd love to see a few of these ACC teams rise up and kick Clemson in the teeth... They have a lot of momentum right now.

The good thing about Tennessee rising is that we don't have to live and die by these in-state kids' decisions. If Tee wants to go to Clemson, so be it. We can recruit regionally and even nationally now.

I think the notion he just wants to enjoy the process is a bit naive. He's coming off a visit to Clemson. I think it's very likely he commits to them very soon, just as HJ did coming off his visit there. Rodgers looks to be headed there as well. Long time till next NSD, but naive to try and tell yourself he's just wanting to enjoy the process.

He also said that Tennessee is "still a priority". Take that fwiw. If he does commit to Clemson then it's time to worry but right now, a year away? Nah.

Butch will show Dabo who's boss. Tee is probably considering Clemson very hard but Butch will get him in the end especially if we have the year we are capable of.

I'm not sure as I don't really follow their recruiting but I think I read an article before that said Dabo/Clemson is one school that pulls offers from commitments who take visits. Is that right?

I wish that was true but Tavin Feaster visited here and his offer was never pulled. No staff does that to players that they really want.

Clemson is a phase just like Oregon has been. Kids think it is cool to go there based on recent success. As soon as Watson leaves they will be back to losing 2-3 acc games and getting blown out it big games.

Really hopin our passing game steps up this next season. Its gnna be really hard to continue to get high profile recievers if the trend of "We cant throw the ball still exist"....Clemson is on a tear rite now,and they have good wide recievers.UT having a good season next year will do wonders in landing some of these instate kids.
