If so then the fact he overturned the backward pass elimates any possibility of biased IMO.


I thought it was backwards but didn't think the replay was conclusive and the retired official agreed on the broadcast

If I'm not mistaken they're reviewed at a central location in NY.

At this point, I feel we are in good to great shape with Kongbo, Dickerson, Warrior, Byrd and Brown but I feel like we only have 4 spots left.

Byrd and Warrior seem like the most likely.

I still give us a 50% shot or better at each of Brown, Dickerson and Kongbo.

I think it comes down to need. While I'd love to have Kongbo, DB, DT, and OL are much greater needs. I think a big indicator will be if Butch does that in-home with Kongbo. Of course if he knows that it's a long shot on Dickerson or Brown, that may change things.

Zero chance he turns down any of those players IMO. If we got all 5, that would be 22 and if we have to get to 21 I think you'll see us ask a player to blue shirt or just cut one loose. This week will be interesting.

We cut loose an O lineman on signing day and I would bet that most don't even know his name now.

It will get lost in the signing day hoopla if we do part ways with a player.

I'm saying it could be an indicator. Of all those mentioned DE end is a lesser need IMO. Let's just hoped he finds a way to take them all. I'm in 100% agreement with Ziti's list.

He will do the in home with Kongbo as long as we are still in it for him which it looks like we will be.

We aren't nearly as good at defensive end as some seem to think. It baffles me.

I will probably be forced into a few vacation days from VN if this happens. It's been a while since I have really slammed anyone on here, but I'm willing to dust off the "ol baseball bat and knock people over the head if this happens.

I'll give my all for Tennessee if I need to.

We are not great talent wise top to bottom but we have numbers. We are better there than the other positions.

I agree and I don't look at it like we have 4 spots left. I look at it like we have around 17ish. 4 have enrolled, so they are in. Then you fill out the rest of the class with the best players you can. If the coaches think that group of 5 is good enough for the class, they are in, imo.
