Ohio State's receivers coach Zach Smith a tad salty after we nabbed Callaway earlier. He posted in response to Coach Gillespie's earlier tweet but was too chicken $hit to "@" him. For those not familiar with twitter, if you @ somebody they'll get a notification that they've been referenced. Here's the exchange:

A Vol fan already did so. The twitter troll legion is giving Smith hell as well - bringing up Braxton Miller and the failed WR experiment and the obligatory "your face looks like a sesame seed" retort.

Really cat? You got any fight in you at all? C'mon man you are supposed to support your team. Gillespie's tweet had no shot at all toward OSU. That was just a unwarranted turdhead move.

I just can't stand the way our WRs are utilized. But yes he's a douche for saying that

I was just pokin atcha bud..lol. CMUs boys did good, seems like I remember Kenbrell Tompkins doin pretty good for Cinci too. I think there are factors at work here that are not as easy to pinpoint. I think injuries, and OL deficiencies, plus our QBs not good at getting them the ball has conspired to make it look worse than it should.

Tell them to stop running routes 15 yards on 3rd and 9. Maybe they'll get the ball on time.

I don't watch enough replay to know what you are talking about in context. Maybe the WRs in question ran the wrong route, maybe they go deeper as a decoy to draw coverage away from the intended target. I don't know.

Thing us there are some idiots that really dump on Dobbs. Some folks are like me..I love Dobbs, and he is amazing, but I think his deficiencies throwing will cost us...unless he improves marginally. He needs to get better in the passing game, so do the WRs...so does the OL. When Dobbs is in the groove throwing, this offense is absolutely unstoppable and he sets records. I just want it to be the rule, and not the exception.

I love Dobbs too. His strengths are running the ball and he doesn't make huge mistakes throwing the ball. He is a relentless competitor and represents the program as well as anyone could ask for. I don't think he needs to be a great passing QB to lead us to a SEC East title.

No, you're right, we can win the east playing like we did this year. We were the best team in the east this year. But if the passing game gets better...we could win it all. Clemson however is going to be a tough out next year. If we improve just marginally on Defense and the passing game...we can beat anybody..anydsy.

My thing is this, Dobbs has his bad passes and that's fine. But explain to me on 3rd and 9-12 why a WR would run a route 15 yards? Dobbs throws the back shoulder fade very well. And I've seen him throw to spots where the WR misreads the coverage. Dobbs being an extremely smart QB dissects coverages very well. Our WRs don't all the time. Also I've watched our WRs fail to win 85-90% of the time on 50/50 passes. You watch any of the successful passing attacks and you'll see aggressive WRs that consistently win versus one on one coverage. Our guys do not do that. Kinda hard to be a good passer if WRs aren't where they are supposed to or they don't make plays. Dobbs surely looks good hitting a TE that runs good routes in stride. Or delivering very catchable passes to them. Malone for one should've had big plays in about 11 games. He's got to just step up and do what he was recruited for. He's basically 6'3 and playing like he's 5'3.

Tell Clemson to come on. If they think Drake was something Berry will blow the game open early. Our defense will be hell on wheels though. I'm expecting one of the best defenses of the modern Tennessee era of football. The secondary has #NOFLYZONE potential especially with Shoop pulling the strings.

That last word was supposed to be anyday. At first glance I read dynasty. I like both.
