Recruiting Forum Football Talk XXIV

People have been saying what the rules are for blue shirting and have been wrong over and over. I remember we had 2-3 blue shirts on signing day and 5-6 a month later (meaning nobody knew who was or wasn't). No offense but I don't know if what you're saying is correct or not.

100% certain the rule says they can't have been visited

I just googled it. I didn't know either. An article on USC website explained it.

There was some talk about him not getting it that freshmen year Because it had to count either forward or backward

Not sure how it turned out
Hmm well idk I remember him earning one after playing a lot of snaps a few games in a row. Probably over 25% of defensive snaps

He received it at the end of the year before Summer. Needed some graduates and transfers to clear for the 85. Had it until this past summer...now it's a medical.

Just telling you what I read
That says no in home right? Well what's considered an in home? Don't coaches visit homes multiple times a year but get one official in home before nsd?

I just need bruin to write me a quick summary of confusing recruiting rules

Lol

I have seen the rule linked here but because what you say I don't have time to find it now.
I don't expect you to find it for me I just wanted to know where you read it. I'm pretty sure the ncaa handbook is almost 2k in page length.

Maybe if I get time I'll read it myself

That's what I was thinking-An "in home" is only with the head coach. Other visits by staff don't count. But, like I said, I could be wrong
