"Running up the score"

"If you don't want us to score, stop us."-- tOBC

No way EB should have taken a knee. He should take it to the house any time he can.

Evan needs to surpass his brother's int return numbers. 100 Yrds is a good start.

That announcer obviously did not watch our early games this year or he would have known that no lead is ever safe.

Running up the score, against a top 25 team GOOD. I don't feel running up the score, just for "Stats" against a powder-puff team, does anything for the program. Total, points, yards passing, rushing etc. for the year mean very little, now when you post those stats against top 25 teams-or SEC teams, you have something worth looking at. This was a Bowl Game, Hell yes we should run up as many points as possible!

Actually letting our QBs throw the ball to our receivers would be like everyone else running it up the middle. J/K

Ducks lead 28 -0 early in 2nd qtr... and they ain't showing signs of slowing down. Shameful.

Final score:

Ducks 31
Frogs 38

Prime example of why you should never quit scoring-- because your opponent won't.

Agree with Spurrier. It isn't the winning team's job to stop their offense. It is the opponent's job to stop their offense.

As long as Northwestern was still throwing the ball, UT has the the right to do the same. To he!! With the dumba$$ announcers.

They also said repeatedly during the broadcast that UT finished 3rd in the East this past season.

I knew then that they were just uniformed talking heads.

There is no running up the score. Ever. The difference between you getting ranked higher or looked at by scouts is in the extra throws or returned interceptions late in a game. This is a game.. And you play to win. If you don't want it to happen to you, stop them from doing it.

I see nothing wrong with winning by as much as you can. You can be nice after the game, but there's really nothing at stake by playing to win until the clock hits double zeros besides your reputation. You don't really want to be liked by your opponents. I know I am in the minority, but if the BCS was still in play I'd make more sense. I'm all for the 4 team playoff, but I think the ranking should be determined by an average of the "computer's" rankings and the "Playoff" committee's rankings.
