[Dobbs 4 Heisman]

Ironic coming from someone who has basically written dissertations on how Dobbs will get better as a passer. Is he the only player on the team being coached by someone?

??? Dobbs was a liability as a true sophomore?

If I remember correctly he rescued our season and was a major reason we had so much hype this off-season. He was even getting some love from national media as a potential dark horse heisman candidate.

The fact that Franklin is being exposed as a fraud brings me immeasurable happiness.

Maybe the reason I missed it is because it made zero sense. I said you can't go from liability as a sophomore to key contributor as a junior/senior. You either have it or you don't. Dobbs doesn't even come into question cause he was a star from the first snap of his sophomore season against Alabama.

Dobbs has to improve his CONSISTENCY as a passer but he's never been a liability. He was arguably our best offensive player last year and mvp.

Doesn't change the fact that the majority of 4 and 5 stars are better than the majority of the 3 stars.

Then why are there more 3 stars in the NFL than 4 and 5 stars?

Because there are way more 3 stars each year than 4 or 5 stars. Per capita 4 and 5 stars still have a much better chance of getting to the pro's than 3 stars.

Jancek's kid is a walk on at UT. Yet, he would've left if the right opportunity came along. Kid's who walk on can transfer too. Also, at 1 mil salary for dad, kid could go to any school in the country that he could get in including Ivy schools.

I agree. Jancek, Martinez, and Butch all have kids walking on at UT. All three have been mentioned for other jobs with no one saying their walk on sons would keep them here.

It's a mute point.

I feel bad for Miss State in the Diaz deal. They hire him from MTSU, he bolts for Texas after making a name for himself in Starkville.

The guys fails miserably in Austin, gets relegated to Louisiana Tech, so State re-hires him to run the defense again upon the DC job opening. Guy leaves after 1 year for Miami.

They had to know he wouldn't be opposed to leaving again.

Careful what we wish for. You never know how the kids in that lockerroom might react to what is being discussed here. Maybe it's good maybe it bad but I feel pretty damn comfortable saying that next year under CJJ would be dang good
