Is Barnes too tough on his players?

Yes, getting busted was his downfall. Had not this occurred we would have Chris Clarke and Rob Gray on the roster now and Romello White next year. Who knows what other good players he would have recruited!

Boy chris clarke has some serious stats for a freshmen.

Damn CDT!!!

Consider who his coach is. On the other hand, see how Rob Gray is being utilized at Houston.

Ray Kosongo has some serious stats for a freshman, as well.

Damn CRB!!!

You completely whiffed on that translation

Clarke is averaging over 10 and 7

Great numbers for a fresh

Damn CDT for cheating and messing that one up

Butler, Arkansas, LSU, Vanderbilt(twice), and South Carolina.

We also got blown out by LSU and South Carolina, so I'd say those pretty much offset each other. Not to mention South Carolina sucked last year and Vandy was an NIT team.

And as far as you not getting excited last year, please son. GTFO with that weak stuff, you and you alter ego were all over Tyndall's jock strap.

Splitting with LSU was a very nice accomplishment

Winning 2 of 3 vs Vandy was disgraceful for stallings. They were light years more talented

USCe and miss state were as close to a bad loss as we had all year. Very comparable to losing to Nebraska this year. Nebraska appears to be a worse loss with an rpi around 225 right now

It was better than losing both, but I'll disagree on how big of an accomplishment it was. LSU had many bad losses last year (us, Auburn twice, Miss. St., Missouri).

Beating an NCAA tourney team on the road with legit nba talent is a dang good win anyway way you look at it

I did whiff on that translation. Please forgive.

I watched him play one time and he did not look good, but he must have just had an off night.

I'm not sure if CDT would've landed him, but Dwayne Bacon is having a nice freshman yr also.

The loss to LSU was due to a 1st half of getting hammered 47-20 which made Donnie livid at halftime. When the team returned to the floor, they outscored them 35-26.

As far as South Carolina, they had just come off a 67-50 win at Georgia in their second win over the Dawgs for the year. If they could play us every game for the rest of this season, they would end the 2015-16 campaign undefeated.

I don't recall that one

Where is he and were we in it for him before the storm hit?

He's at Florida State, he was a 5 star and I believe for a short time during his junior year he was actually ranked number 1 in the nation. He considered us, but committed to FSU early, I wanna say before his senior season maybe.

Where did I say we were HEAVY underdogs? I only said that we were underdogs in 6 games that we won. How many games has rb won with us being underdogs?

Seems pretty clear to me, but here's the posts for you...

I do not recall ever saying how awesome we were last season. I do know that we won 6 games that no one gave us any chance to win and I have asked the question in THIS THREAD about how many games this season does anyone predict that we will win that we are heavy underdogs in. So far, no answers.

What 6 games did we win last year that we were "heavy underdogs" in?

Butler, Arkansas, LSU, Vanderbilt(twice), and South Carolina.

Would love to see the lines for those games, were we also underdogs to Mississippi State when they beat us last year? What was Tyndall's record last year in games favored/underdogs? Right now Barnes is 6-0 as the favorite and 0-5 as the underdog.

Doubt you really want to get into those numbers when this season is over

Just to make sure facts are used here we were a 1.5pt Favorite vs Nebraska

The fact remains that we were underdogs in 6 games last year that we ended up winning. This season we have won zero games as underdogs. We may win a couple but I do not believe that we will many. Also, last year's roster was depleted. Remember that Ian Chiles was counted on to play pg some in order to give Josh some rest.

So basically you're backtracking on your "heavy underdog" statement.

And pray tell WTF do you call this year's roster?
