Is Barnes too tough on his players?

Easy easy

This article wasn't written about Barnes at tenn. It was about him at Texas

No reason to think our players are complaining at this

In fact our players seem to genuinely like and enjoy Barnes

Exactly....every player I've heard to a man have high praise for CRB and in recent years... CRB has become a more godly man, having daily scripture and bible studys and listens to sermons now on his Ipod...he himself said that has made a HUGE difference in him NOW verses THEN.... So I'll go with CRB for now and see what happens....

I've seen the same interview of KP and Armani talking about their role, the coach, and their teammates three times (3rd time on the hour special last night w/Kesling). They seemed very loose and they described CRB the same way...loose and funny. If Barnes is a big hardass then they are expert liars.

Intersting and I hadn't heard that about his faith

When did that change happen?

In 28 seasons Barnes record of having a winning conference season is 17-11. I believe that after this year his record will fall to 17-12.

Those of you who thought that Tyndall was a horrible coach must not remember that his number of upsets last year was 6. Also, after beating Arky in Knoxville, we played right down to the wire in Fayetteville and in the SEC tournament. How many upsets does anyone predict this season under Barnes direction?

Please discuss why CDT was a horrible coach here and here alone.

Bring up a thread about the subject and we can go over it again for the millionth time and hope this time it sticks for you. Something tells me it wont.

My final comment as I have other things to do that are more important is if what you say is considered cheating and lying while coaching UT, then why were we not on the hot seat?

I'll come back this evening when I have more time. For now, sayonara.

If CDT lied to Hart, then the hot seat was all his and his alone.

He did lie during his initial interview with UT.

Coaches sign a document that they haven't broken any rules or know of any rules broken every single year. Tyndall lied on that a number of years. My guess is every single year he coached

If the Vols don't win another game this year, they're still better off because DT isn't running this program

You liked his defense? It seemed like the Vols were constantly getting abused by open 3 pointers with no adjustments from the coaching staff.

Yeah but it was still better than this years..... Look how abused we are getting down low..... CDT sagged his zone more than usual and chose to let teams beat us from three if they could

They're getting abused inside. It's why I can't see more than 5 or 6 wins in SEC play.
