We should have known the story was BS when the Al-Jazeera stated that Clay Matthews was getting pain meds from the same clinic when he would have gotten the same pain meds from the team doctors.

But the media isn't /story. They're willfully perpetuating a non-story that has been emphatically denied and for which they have no credible source, and they're doing it to increase viewership/readership. And they've implicated Peyton's wife.

I hope Peyton and Ashley Manning's attorneys file suit tomorrow.

My 1st thought after realizing how weak this story is...is what would the reaction be like if you simply replaced Manning with Brady?

This place would have exploded and the journalistic integrity of all involved wouldn't be questioned.

We give lots of latitude (rope) to our heroes and zilch for the villains.

Manning and Brady aren't exactly at the same place on the honesty and integrity scale, though. And Manning's wife is very private and avoids media attention-- unlike, say, Gisele Bundchen.

We are UT fans, so defense of our heroes is natural. I have seen several VOLS ripped, such as Arian Foster, Da'Rick, Bray, etc. Of course, the villains will also be ripped at every opportunity.

Based on what? I promise all athletes look to gain a competitive edge. Brady does it and he's a cheater...Manning does something and we laugh about it.

Remember during Manning's FR year at UT and he arrived early for the Sunday evening meeting and locked the door so Brandon Stewart couldn't get in? I think that's pretty funny, but I wouldn't if I was Stewart.

In reference to the wives, are you serious? One is a Super Model.

My point was simply that the Mannings and the Bradys are very different kinds of people with very different sets of values.

As for the wives, my point was that one values privacy, while another seeks it out. This goes to personality rather than occupation.

This guy hated everything Duke growing up. When you hear sexual assault allegations and the DA is going after these kids hard , you figure everything's in a row. Then you find out that one of the accused was at an ATM and is videoed at the time of the alleged "assault. Prosecution goes ahead aloof of that fact. Cried foul then and cried foul now. It's insulting when something is proven a lie and presented to you anyway...if you're stupid enough you'll buy it, seems to be the prevailing sentiment there. I don't care who they're lying about, that crap pisses me off.

One wouldn't be wrong in saying Brady's wife is more famous than him....Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn as well.

I can't see Manning's wife being involved in something like this in any way, shape, or form...but that has nothing to do with her fame vs. Gisele's.
