Justin Martin wasn't a normal JUCO though and definitely not a flier.

I didn't think we even looked at "normal" Juco guys unless we were beyond desperate - ie Blair and Quinn. Those examples are spots we had nobody let alone warm bodies. They were doa though.

Blair was highly rated and recruited. We weren't taking a flyer on him.

Well Martin was the only one that was only one year removed from HS. That's pretty rare.

I think we've done fairly well with the JUCO route. That said, with a small class any JUCO this year should be expected to play.

'Lurking about' sounds a bit creepy to me but I will admit to keeping an eye on the conversation from a respectful distance.

We cut our sacks allowed in half and moved up 73 spots in the ranking for that stat. From 43 allowed in 2014 to 21 and from 123nd to 49th.

Our line is not all world but it is markedly improved. Small wonder rushing stats followed.
