It really doesn't matter. Kirk still only had 2 total TD's while Berry had 3. Berry had a 38 yard average while Kirk had a 17.4 yard average on kickoffs. Kirk had his 2 TD's on punts. Unless you weight punt returns more than kickoff returns, that is a joke that Berry didn't get first or even second team.

So Kirk had 5 total TDs?

If so I would say voters based their vote on that and total return years which would have favored Kirk.

OMG this Purple Vandy writer wrote an article about what he learned from Tennessee fans on Twitter yesterday. I love it. There's so much contextual error it's hilarious.

Here's what I learned about Tennessee from its fans on Twitter - Inside NU

That's comical. Can't believe for as smart as you are supposed to be from NW, he actually took the time to write an article about fans on twitter.

Did I see that NW is really 2-9 overall in bowl games?

So there was only one return specialst on the team?

Edit: went back and looked. Only one returner on each team which makes sense why berry didn't get on the team. Should be 2 IMO. One for KR and one for PR.

What about the Maryland kid that's second team? He do both?

Shall I paste the link again?

I said he'd get a promotion.

Someone else brought up mid major OC, I said he might do that.

You brought your ass into it and talked about money.

Don't be a jackass.

When you admit this is completely false or stop coming at me this bs will end

You and you alone brought up the lower level OC bs. Not some other poster or ghost. You did.

If you want to pull my chain then at least do it with truths instead of bold faced lies

He did both and had more total yardage than Berry. But he still only had 3 total TD's. His average kick return was almost 16 yards less than Berry's.

The total yardage thing did berry in it sounds

Not sure what there isn't 2 spots. Makes no sense unless it's trying to reward the more versatile player

One beef i have with RF this year; not enough star gazing. Lots of Butch trust which is good but we have a chance to move first in East in talent but this class is looking to derail that. Who could we flip to stay that or why does UF's class suck.

Our WRs run a lot of routes at the wrong depth. They also make a lot of misreads. And they don't win 50/50 balls enough. I also don't like the passing concepts we use to attack defenses. And the misuse of WRs skill sets.

Ex: North ran a shallow route and gets blown up versus Florida. But Smith runs the wheel route and can't go to make a play on a high but catchable ball. Big WRs should be used like they are big WRs. Smaller guys should be used as such.

Why is Pearson not being used in the mid range to take advantage of his route running and sure hands.

The lack of creativeness to involve Wolf is crazy to me as well. He would literally blow most coverages wide open.

Why do we 9/10 run a dive play right after a first down? That's the worst part of our offense. That play never works and we're practically conceding a down.

I find it funny that coaches design plays to get Kamara involved but not North who gave Butch his biggest win to date.

Now not having a healthy Croom and North hurt us. Those two actually run routes right and play big when given the opportunity.

Really hard to disagree with any of this. Good post.

Hopefully these are things that the coaches study and fix, where possible, going into next season.

First down play calling kills me.

I've not been impressed with these purple vandy grads so far. They've been ignorant, offensive and classless overall. Too many beat writers have said some obnoxious things publicly that are so disgustingly wrong that I'd call it unprofessional and an egregious stain on journalism.
