I would love to volatil, but I'm no longer there. Moved to Harlan KY back in August. My wife's boss had seats right behind the rays dugout. Used em all the time. Speaking of the Rays...man I'm ticked about Price going to Beantown. Also where do your folks live down there? From where you described, it sounds like they were almost my neighbors. I lived about a block from the back entrance to Cove Cay.

You moved from Tampa Bay, Florida to Harlan, Kentucky?

.....are you a US Marshall?

Some may remember around this time last year I went through a rough time when my mom got super sick & was lying on her deathbed for about 30 days but by the Grace of God she pulled through it..the same week mom got sick my girlfriend of six years decided to break it off for another guy too Lol.

Anyways ever since then I've just really been burdened & especially the past few months just feeling like I'm not doing enough & making the impact on this world that id like to in my 23 years. I love flying airplanes & have a passion for it & but I feel like my purpose for living is bigger than a job. I just wanna help people in someway. Too much pain & suffering..too many people fighting for their lives with awful diseases..too many lonely & broken people that need someone to show them they care & they're loved & I just feel like I'm not really doing anything to help..I'm just here going through the motions of life. I just want to find my purpose in life & make a difference in the world is all.

I know this has nothing to do with football but you guys have been there for my before & have given me some really good advice. I KNOW I'm supposed to do more with this life than I'm doing..feeling has been too strong in my heart for too long to ignore. And trust me I pray about it daily so I'm Just asking for a small tiny prayer that I'd find my purpose in life..thanks guys.

I'm 29 and experience some of those same things. I'm a college professor and I, like you and flying, do have a passion for it, but I sometimes wonder if I'm truly helping anyone or just kinda floating around. One thing I've come to accept is that I am not my job and there are tons of ways to make a difference, in my career and out of it. I try to look at things from that perspective.

By the way, as someone who is afraid to fly but does it anyway, pilots help more than you realize :)

I just read an article where some TN legislators are calling for Cheek to resign. Apparently, UT has put out guidelines suggesting not to have holiday celebrations, that is, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc., at staff parties this time of year. They suggest that any games should not have religious or cultural themes and that even refreshments should be general.

What is our world coming to?

"Pro inclusion"...Non-gender conforming words...booger eater...

I'm sorry but, f*** Cheek and his ultra sensitive, ultra PC, ultra liberal cronies. This administration is beyond embarrassing in almost every way imaginable.

Wait...no...not sorry.

End rant.

You work for Catbone??

Ha-ha, not even close. I would look for gainful employment elsewhere. They haven't been unbeaten since the 20's. Just not used to having things fall their way.

Edit: plus, my boss is not a UGA fan

Title games are really starting to lose their luster in a lot of cases

@McMurphyESPN: Temple returned 2,950 of its 3,000 ticket allotment for American title game says @D_D_Bass

Let's say Baylor beats Texas 50 to nothing, would the Texas job come open?

I would say yeah. Especially with Herman still waiting on deck. I think Herman would have enough time to close with a great class if Strong was fired on Sunday and Herman was hired some time in the next week.

They sold 50 tickets? WTF!? We would sell 50 in the first minute they were availible.

Utvols88, you probably said it as a joke. But there is some truth to it. One of the ways you can have a huge impact on your community and the world is to raise godly kids. Fatherhood is a huge responsibility and it can be stressful and wear you out, but at the same time it is a huge blessing. And I think if we do it right, we will feel fulfilled and like we have done what God wants us to do.

Of course I am not saying being a dad is the only way God expects us to serve Him or that that would be all God wants from us and for us. Just saying it is a big way to do it if we do it the way we should.

I can tell you one fanbase that it won't lose its luster...dem VOLS!!!

Plus, it's the AAC...no one cares! Only Houston has a chance to make a major bowl.

It's also finals week at Temple and a 2,000 mile trip. Pretty much an impossible trip for any students.

God has blessed me with the challenge. It is very rewarding so far and I have only seen the tip of that iceberg. He's almost 4 months now and it has been incredible. The Lord will only show more of his blessings as time goes on. Can't wait.

But my goodness I'm tired lol

South Carolina fans are ripping apart Herman now that he has apparently signed his new UH deal. Several are saying he should have cashed in while his stock was high. UH will be good again next year so it's not like it is going to take a hit. If he went to South Carolina he was probably going 4-8 next year and his stock would drop like a lead balloon. Even after all the national media said he had no interest in South Carolina they though they were a big enough job to pull him. Better go ahead and introduce Muschamp.

A writer for an Arizona site said earlier in the week RR wanted $5 mil and $2.5 mil for staff and USCe said no thanks and then they started talking again yesterday. It's been a weird search. Some think Herman is still in the mix because he hasn't signed an extension yet, but most think it's been Muschamp for a while now, just finalizing numbers. It's been almost 50 days since HBC retired

You can't start interviewing coaches until the regular season is over. It's not like they've had 50 days to hire someone.
