Coker against auburn looking like mayfield against us. Escaping sacks and making plays. Sickening. I hate bama so much.

Same here, but they're winning it all this year. Again.

Hope auburn pulls this out somehow. If not gonna hope for a similar thing like Ohio state beating them last year where I didn't think they would beat bama but they did

I don't have many complaints about DeBord at this point. I think the OU and UF games were a philosophical issue rather than a schematic issue.

I think he called good games against both until Butch forced him to go conservative. Watch that 1st half against OU again.

This is a game where Butch Jones doesn't need to let up. Bury these mother****ers until the clock hits 0.

No joke, Vandy fans are already claiming moral victory because Ralph Webb outrushed Hurd in the first half "before the backups were in."

Good lord I hate them.

Debord has been much less deboring today. As much as the offense has improved, it still has the normal spread issues inside the Red Zone. I still believe you need the QB under center for many of those plays even if you don't have a FB and just use an H-Back. Our TE's are mobile and good blockers. The O-line has proven to be good at counter and trap blocking with Thomas at C. It would add a dimension that would make it really hard on opposing DC's.

That's just an outright lie. Why would Vanderbilt take the starters out? They obviously need the reps.

Will be interesting. He has a lot to sell, but he built the program at Memphis with some inherited talent. He developed them really well, but recruiting is still a bit of a question mark.

Not sure what talent you think he inherited, UM was literally at the bottom of the barrel when Larry Porter was coaching, laughing stock of all college football. IIRC, got beat by the likes of MTSU (several years in a row ) as well as UT Martin. Fuentes literally built that program from laughing stock to being mentioned as a playoff team possibility this year. I've always felt if someone was successful at UM, they can be successful just about anywhere. Great hire for VT and expect he will have them playing well. Will be interesting to watch our recruiting battles with them in the future.
