That is such a massive step down for him. He would be better served waiting a year if another opportunity didn' open this year and see what happens. Missouri is a disaster and the political situation isn't helping.

Plus, I can't see him eating that field turf.

I tend to agree, but we'll never win the sec without an accurate passer. Maybe he improves, but if he doesn't, you almost have to open it up

I disagree with your premise that Dobbs is not or can't be an accurate passer. But even if I did agree, have you watched SEC football the last 2 years?

In 2013, Auburn won the SEC title with a QB playing cornerback right now in the NFL and in 2014, Alabama won the SEC title with a RB playing QB.

I'm pretty sure we can win the SEC title next year with an elite 11 QB that is right now ranked #25 in the country in QBR.

Haha. I can usually nerd it up myself. I love learning. I was the valedictorian of my high school class. Made a 32 on my ACT. Never even made a B until I got to graduate school. But I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about in your post. Hahaha. Please satisfy my curiosity here

He's been the most productive regardless of numbers, other than maybe Garrett. He's applying pressure as much or more than anyone.

DL overall?
ARichardson has been the most dominant* DL in SEC.

Jon Bullard has been almost unblockable this yr as well.

Does the All conference team award for DL or by position.

So likely it's Music City, Belk, or Outback against Northwestern, Wisconsin, or Nebraska.

Which one of those 3 would you prefer out of and who would you like to play?

One, I said maybe he can improve.

Two, his qbr is VERY inflated by 80% or so of his throws at or behind the LOS.

Three, Butch and Debord are not Malzahn. WE cannot win without accurate passing. That said, Marshall didn't have the luxury of over half his passes being behind the los to pad his completion %. Marshall and Dobbs are very similar, with Marshall being more athletic and having a bigger arm, and most importantly, play calling and scheme that was innovative and effective. Same with Simms.

I think Outback would be the highest profile.

I think the easiest win would be Nebraska, but I'd like to beat a quality team, so Northwestern I guess. That being said, of course Nebraska would go undefeated next year and be in the playoff a la Iowa this season.

If you really believe Marshall and Sims are better passers than Dobbs them bless your heart. We have nothing more to discuss.

"LOL" is the acronym I was referring to. It's also the same frontwards and backwards. Palindrome.
