Also...I think Mullen will go to VT. He's done as much as he can at MSU. Prescott will be gone. ACC is much easier road to a championship.

Meh, respectable is beating UF or Bama and winning the East. Jones has done a fine job and if we have to extend him fine but he already makes a ton of money for the results he has produced on the field.

What if we lose to Vanderbilt and then the bowl game?

I think he's done pretty good so far and has navigated our program out of the woods admirably, but he's got a pretty sweet deal as is and I would love to see us take that next step before we start talking about more money.

Compare SEC coaches in 2014 to plausible SEC coaches in 2017-2018.

IMO the only guys still left will be Butch, McElwain, Freeze, Saban (maybe), and Mason (?).

I think Bielema will still be around. Sumlin too. Maybe I have a poor gauge on those programs/fan bases, but I get the impression that given their respective recent histories, they aren't going to run off a coach that consistently gets them 8 wins, which I think both Bielema and Sumlin can do.

According to the piss and moaners, Butch sucks so bad you should probably put a ? Beside his name too. Surely he will be on the hotseat by 17...amirite Chav?

Possibly. I can actually see the SEC losing a lot of its luster soon. Especially if some of the big programs make bad hires.

I have a hard time figuring out where Miss. State would go if Mullen bounced. Same with Mizzou (although I do wonder if they will have to make a politically influenced hire).

If Miles gets booted, there would be a lot of teams ready to give him a fresh start.

SEC loses its luster as soon as Saban leaves. He skews it all in our favor until someone else comes on the scene and wins a few natty's.
