Some guys just can't locate the football. He's got bigger problems than that though.

Not an expert, but from what I've seen the ability to turn and locate the ball while running full speed is hard to teach - either you have it or you don't.

Justin Coleman is the obvious example here. NFL corner in every respect... Except for finding the ball on deep routes. Still can't do it from what I've seen. He hasn't been burned for it with the Patriots yet, though.

Thanks guys. :good!:

The depth is there at key positions. Idk you guys are kinda scary it seems. Let Alabama lose Ragland like we lost Maggitt. That defense would be hurting. We hurt but our guys stepped up too. Look at the WRs we lost(Croom, Howard, North, PWilliams). Who else can deal with that? Lost around 3 starting OL too. Team is still a good team.

Any chance you could head over to the football forum and articulate the depth that 119 team actually does have? Lotta those guys seem to think we're so thin that we can't hold a first quarter lead.

Lack of depth is easier to swallow than questionable coaching.

I'll never post over there. That's a bunch of people I'd lose my mind talking to. 😂😂😂

I guess Martin is looking better for sure. Mosley scares me to death on the deep balls. Why can't he be taught to look back for the ball? Is that too difficult to do? I'm not a guru. Just wondering what you think?

I heard analyst saying cause playing man typically causes this o saw bama corners not turning around when ball was on time. I'm not sure tho but zone does seem to see or corners look back little more

Nah a good CB turns and locates the ball regardless of the scheme or coverage call. Bama CBs just suck at locating the football. That's their way of dressing up a Bama weakness as usual. 😁😁😁😁

Per Hubbs

That will set up January to be a busy month for the Vols as its remaining commitments will all have to take official visits as will a number of top targets like Derrick Brown, Nigel Warrior and others.

Nigel Warrior has been rumored to have Alabama as his favorite school, but he squashed that speculation on Thursday.

Warrior, a 4-star safety from Peachtree Ridge High School (Suwanee, Ga.), thinks the rumors of him favoring Alabama stem from his numerous visits to Tuscaloosa, Ala.

“That’s just all talk,” Warrior told SEC Country. “I’ve seen them play against really good teams, and I’ve liked what I have seen.”

The son of former NFL All-Pro and Tennessee Volunteers star Dale Carter said the six schools that he is strongly considering — Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, UGA, Florida and Ohio State — are all on equal ground.

Mosley gives great effort and I don't want to dog him but, he was a two star project. Cam is one of our if not the best corner we've had in a few years and even he can lose the one on ones... Mosley just seems to be consistently beat on deep balls.
We need some elite guys in the back field.

Martin and tkj will be great, gaulden is apparently the nickel solution. Really need a true corner or two and a stud safety ( warrior)

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Jennings playing safety next year as well. Especially if we miss on Warrior.
