I think most can agree on the top 4 SEC teams.

1)Bama (10-1)
2)Ole Miss (8-3)
3)Florida (10-1)
4)Miss State (8-3)

But... Who is 5th-9th through 11 games?

Tennessee (7-4) best win: Georgia
worst loss: Arkansas
Arkansas (6-5) best win: Ole Miss
worst loss: Toledo
Texas AM (8-3) best win: Miss State
worst loss: Auburn
LSU (7-3) best win: Florida
worst loss: Arkansas
UGA (8-3) best win: Auburn
worst loss: Tennessee

Florida has a good record, but I wouldn't put them in the top 4. I have not been impressed with them all year, and they are very lucky to have beaten us.

Pretty pumped that we took out Mizzou last night. Defense is playing lights out down the stretch. We should destroy Vandy this week.

The game was the only bright spot to my day yesterday. Injured my hand at work yesterday really bad. Dropped a big wooden shelving unit on my right hand. Had a big laceration from the middle of my Palm to the bottom of my ring finger stitched up.

My ring finger is broken in 4 different places. My pinky finger bone is split down the middle. Then to top it off my Palm is broken into multiple pieces.

Go to a hand specialist this week to see what kind of surgery this going to require. Physical therapy is probably in my future.

Wow, sorry to hear that! Hope you heal up quickly!

As fun as recruiting is going to be over the next two months, and it will be, as something happens at UGA, whether Pruitt, Richt or both, VN needs to brace themselves....

There are about to be about a dozen power 5 staffs formed, and you can absolutely bank on some of our coaches being targets, and not just the ones VN always wants gone. Gonna need to hold on to your hats.

I think what aggravates me is that we could be undefeated... We are also notorious for blown leads in the second half.

Nobody else does it like the VOLS, so that is worrisome. It could just be that those teams are just that good, and nobody has had the same schedule that we have.

I tend to look at that with the glass half full mindset, though--especially when 3 of the top five teams and four of the top ten we either slaughtered in a bowl game or had leads into the fourth quarter.

I guess I'm different but I look at it with what I like to refer to as the common sense mindset. Very young team at a program with a recent culture of losing suddenly finds itself up 2 scores on conference rivals or elite programs and doesn't know how to handle success. Execution failures and a few bad calls by refs lead to disaster and some blown leads. After this happens a few times, the team regroups, learns its lessons and dominates the last half of the season.

Pretty straight forward narrative.

Anyone have an injury report? As far as I know it was pretty clean wasn't it?

SouthKnoxVol will be out for the remainder of the season including a bowl game. His availability for spring practice is unknown at this point. Full recovery is expected by fall camp 2016.

Definitely agree here. Was thinking the same thing.

Aesius makes a lot of good points, per usual. Honestly, we could go in circles about this.

My main point was he has plenty of HC experience.

And I think that experience showed in how he handled the Arkansas loss with his team and how his team has regrouped down the stretch. I think most were smelling blood in the water after that game, and were expecting a Dooley like finish to the season.

Didn't happen because of CBJ's experience.

Good point. Haven't really thought about people looking for some of our coaches.

Strip and Elder are the must keep imo. And Thig for recruiting. Gillespie and Martinez would be nice to keep. I'd be fine if everyone else got poached.

Strip isn't going anywhere.

The coordinators are the only ones that matter. Keep them both and the others are easily replaceable. CBJ is the only recruiter that matters
