Foreman vs Oklahoma.

His 2nd start at nickel.

IMO he has developed into the position.
You said his better play of late was due to the opponent and i was asking how you thought he played vs Bama.

I thought against Bama he was very good.

Perhaps his talent isn't 5 star level but IMO he has learned to play the game and with the experience under his belt he will start somewhere next year.

Idk who wins the nickel spot next year but Foreman is turning into a very solid nickel CB. He's been locking the slot man up for 3 weeks in a row(Bama, UK, and Scar). Against UGA I blame the coaches for not giving him help over the top. But he stopped SCAR last two drives literally. Kid deserves a lot of credit and so does Martinez. The CBs are progressing fine without Terry Fair. :whistling:

Who thinks we beat OK and/or FL with Gaulden and Martin healthy?

And Maggitt not missing any time at the end of the game. Mayfield has nowhere to throw the ball and no escape from the pocket.

We probably beat UF with that trio healthy as well. And the confidence carries over to an Arkansas win and....

No, must not go down this dark path!

   we were so close. So tired of saying next year, but for real. Next year is THE year. It has to be.

We would've beat Florida and Oklahoma had they just played Martin. Our coaches are flat out crazy at times.

Yep, that path leads no where. Those opponents all but assuredly had a handful of their own injuries...this argument just goes in circles.

But, it is without question indicative of just how close UT is.

This.

Hell of a story here.

Good thing this forumn doesn't write the stories for these kids. So sad how poorly this kid was discussed here while he was showing that unmatched work all the while turning himself into an nfl player

His move to nickle proved to be perfect for him. His only issue in 1st 3 seasons was the deep jump ball on outside but we didn't have much of a choice except to leave him out there due to depth. Moseley seems to have this same issue. I am curious to see if they would consider moving him to Nickle if he doesn't figure it out

Great story. And needs to be highlighted during the recruitment process as tangible proof Jones is looking out for his players and genuinely cares about them succeeding.

Yeah, that is sure proof that he has their backs.
