I'll give him all the credit in the world for the game wining play last week. But he's a serviceable backup. This kid and Mosley are consistently beat out there. I'm ready to see studs across the board out there. ( see Bama) we need gaulden to be healthy and recruit some big time players to develop.

I love these kids effort and hope they continue to progress and prove me wrong. But they tend to be miss matched more times than not. But they are the next man up right now until we heal up and get some
Stud recruits.

Foreman was all over the field Saturday. He played his best game not even considering the last play

We are basing this thinking off of reports which sometimes turn out not so accurate but I assume you are correct.

With that being said foreman is going to be way to seasoned a football player to take him off the field. IMO he moves back to CB and takes over for sutton

Gaulden is a tackling machine at Corner...

I also think he could be a SS... Very versatile

@CoachSamz: Tracy Claeys is just the second interim HC who coached more than 2 games since 2008 to be elevated to permanent HC. The other? Dabo Swinney.

For those discussing intermin coaches getting the job. IMO there is still Zero change USCe goes that direction regardless of what happens the rest of the Season

If both USC's win out, I think they might actually. I'd like to see one of the scenarios happen just to see if they do.

Most seem to agree Foreman is developing nicely at nickel.

What happens next year with Gaulden and he?

I could see Gaulden moving back to FS, and keeping Foreman at nickel if he continues to progress. This also depends on Evan Berry and how he progresses at FS or if they possibly move him to offense. Lastly, I could see them moving Foreman back to CB for depth and competition.

Lot of options there, which is a good thing. First things first though, keep Gaulden healthy.

For our sake I hope they(USCe) do hire the guy. I just see no way that happens but I certainly could be wrong

So with Picou & Griffin losing their helmet stripes after yesterday's practice, the list I have says there's 7 guys left from the past recruiting class that still have theirs-

Drew Richmond
Preston Williams
Austin Smith
Vincent Perry
Andrew Butcher
Tommy Townsend
& Riley Lovingood

Have previous players still had these on their helmets into the next season? That would suck..

How did Sapp lose his and Smith not?

Good article on Justin Coleman.. Looks like Butch helped get him in with Pats and he has taken off with it.

No quit in Justin Coleman | Boston Herald

Hell of a story here.

Good thing this forumn doesn't write the stories for these kids. So sad how poorly this kid was discussed here while he was showing that unmatched work all the while turning himself into an nfl player

I think Bruin's comment was more focused on Coleman playing the nickel position, where Martin is strictly an outside corner thus far.

I hope that was his point.

No kidding. I'm sure it happened at some point, but I never saw Coleman fight off a block and make a play. Let's not even talk about pass coverage. He's not horrible, especially in zone, but Martin is an upgrade and I'm guessing Gaulden will be too. Heck, Foreman has made more plays and gets beat at least equally as often if not less.
