looking ahead
If we win out and win our bowl do you feel satisfied? If not are you disappointed?
8-4 would be a normal progression step in the right direction. However one should dig a little deeper for a better feel for what it would mean.
CBJs for the first time in his tenure was facing significant "noise" and staring 2-5 right square in the face with a 17pt deficit against GA.
The "noise" was so so close to being a fever pitch. Even with all the injuries he rallied the team around him and silenced the "noise"
Considering all those factors an 8-4 season has to be considered worth more than the normal progression IMO.
What happens in the bowl game is of zero consequence IMO as long as we are 8-4 heading into it.
The other one I was wanting to look back at was how Randolph reacted after the hit on Cooper. Whiny-ass Houston Kress claimed on their show yesterday afternoon that Randolph immediately removed his helmet and started walking toward the locker room. I didn't remember it that way and, after watching a replay of it this morning, it absolutely didn't happen that way. Randolph kept his helmet on and went to the bench area to await the ruling from the officials.
I just hate it when people make claims to support their opinion of something. It was targeting, without a doubt. And, BR may very well have premeditated the hit and decided it was worth it. But, Kress added the description above to support his theory that BR targeted intentionally...and it didn't happen that way.
Same with Hurd. Someone completely decided to make up the scenario in which Hurd just trotted off the field to support their theory that he's unhappy. Again, didn't happen that way.

Not saying he did it immediately but Randolph did remove his helmet and appeared to me he was conceding the fact he was gone BEFORE the review was over.
