LAvol...I never go in for bashing our players, but this one vexed me. The pure..no other word to describe it..selfishness, makes me puke. Frustration I understand, what was said and done on a public board by a known close friend/family member is unjustifiable. He even had the gall to say he doesn't care what Vol fans think. He is good player that I really admired...until today. Move over Arian Foster, you've got company.

I'm not willing to go to the point of holding a player accountable for someone else's message board post. You don't know for sure what was embellished, etc.

No kidding, people did this with Helm's reason for leaving too, taking message board rumors as gospel.

Unfortunately, he's unlikely to refute it; he didn't put it out there.

I understand how you feel, and it's disturbing that some of our best players are so frustrated. But they're not tweeting about it or talking to the media about it-- anonymous posters on a fan forum are. It's been a tough season. Other players feel like the one that was outed, but people close to them have respected their confidence. It's better that way, IMO.

It appears like this particular person wanted this to be said though. Using a hatchet man as it were. I just wish our team would be a TEAM and stick together. This kind of selfishness is nauseating.

Go back if you can and watch the TD pass to Kamara. Jalen makes a huge block to spring him. After the TD everybody goes to congratulate Kamara and celebrate except Jalen. He just turns and jogs back to the bench. I noticed this at the time and thought it strange, even before all this from 74.

This is JMO...

But if anyone should be pissed, its Ethan Wolf. That kid is an NFL tight (potentially), and he's criminally under-utilized.

That was one of Adams' better pieces. I actually followed what he said. Most of the time it is insane gibberish. I really don't know what he expects Butch to say though. Why should he be baited into shooting himself in the foot by Adams? Unlike Adams, Butch makes too much money and works too hard to fall for that even if part of what he said is true. All elite sports programs have a cult following and hang on almost every word the HC says. It's just that Adams wants an Adams cult following - which is probably limited to just him in the group.

Much to do about nothing. At the end of the day, he is still a top draft pick in this offense. While he may prefer i- formation there just isn't a lot of those offenses available anymore. At the same time this offense shows off just how versatile he really is in pass game and pass protection which makes him more valuable to an NFL team than running behind a full back. Where would he go? He is a 3 year player anyway so it is pointless to transfer. He isn't staying anywhere for 4 years because he needs less hits to preserve his mileage. We already have him on maintenance plans as a freshman and sophomore. Be careful what you wish for wanting to be a 30 carry back on SEC isn't necessarily a good thing for your future. One hit can change it all.
