He's tied to this program now. Unless he wants to delay his route to the league.
He could sit a year and play for a large school that he feels could showcase his talents more. Then enter the draft and possibly improve his stock.Exactly. He would have two options for leaving.
1. Sit a year, train, and enter the draft.
2. Sit a year, play for a smaller school, enter the draft.
Option 1 would definitely drop his draft grade over staying here and racking up stats another year. Option 2 would probably drop his draft grade and would definitely take a year off of his NFL career. Either way he's losing big money for what seems like a pretty trivial reason.
Don't see how that's grounds for transferring when he's already regarded as an upper tier back in the SEC and an OL that's going to be noticeably better next year.
