I also doubt that TKjr listens to the Doug Matthews show on Sunday mornings.

I agree, but with social media being the way it is this day I'm pretty sure what he said will get back to him.

I think TKjr has had a fine career to this point. However, we're not at practice and I wonder if the coaching staff believe he could be playing at a higher level than he is.

Tells me Mark got lazy and didn't even bother to check and see that UT is one win from bowl eligibility with N.Texas, Mizzou, and Vandy left. That's poor form on his part.

Par for the course. When Michigan and Notre Dame announced that they were ending their yearly series, I am fairly sure that he was very much against it because he said that he grew up watching the series. Apparently, some site did research and found that the series took a break for a while and didn't get renewed until May was almost in college. He is just a talking head, and like some, only speaks his mind without doing any research.

So he's basically a VolNation poster then?

If he beats FL and Clemson he will get it.

I agree.

Steve Spurrier even suggested him. Tanner is a Carolinas guy along with Elliott. Good player at Appy State, good coach at Appy State with NC rings, and worked his way up the ladder at USCe. The roster loves him. He knows the recruiting grounds perfectly. They could do much worse. Part of the fit is being immersed in the culture and people of the Carolinas and GA to succeed there.

One thing I noticed yesterday, our 1st team, on both sides, were gassed in the second half. That's the first time I've really seen that this year.

Depth.

Was depth the problem or was the problem that we stopped putting pressure which allowed them to have extended drives and cause our defense to be gassed. In the first half we pressured the QB and did not allow him to pick us apart. Why?

40pt favorites

Tennessee has faced North Texas just once, with the Mean Green stunning the Vols for a 21-14 upset at Neyland Stadium on Oct. 25, 1975.

Imagine that result in today's social media environment.

Time for some payback. I bet we run for over 400 yards. Doubt CBJ lets us put 70 on them but we could by the third quarter easily.

The LA Tech RB ran for 6 td's against them this week. Protland St threw for 302 and ran for 368 against them while North Texas had 198 total yards.

Really, we need to pull our starers by half. They need to rest and our backups can handle North Texas.

If Florida plays Bama in the SEC Championship they may get shut out. I still believe we are the best team in the East. Just didn't know how to finish early in the year. The finishes in the USC an Georgia games make me think we've at least learned that. Now we need to learn how to dominate the teams we are supposed to beat.

If the staff lets the starters rest this week and let the backups loose, then we will roll the last 3 opponents. Have Dobbs and Hurd play 1st qtr. Dobbs 150 yds passing and Hurd 100 yds rushing. Then pull them and the starting OL.

Then let 2nd string on go off. My recipe for a successful and less dramatic remaining season :hi:

Barnett, JRM, Sutton, Dobbs and Hurd just need to sit it out this week and rest up for Missouri (maybe). I hope to see lots of Dormady, Kelly, Young, Phillips, McDowell and McKenzie.

Kamara is a specialist

Hurd could have used a little less load in order to keep him fresh for the last few games. Give kelly those carries

Lol!! Kamara isn't just a specialist. He's a perfect compliment to Hurd's running style, and needs to get more touches out of the backfield.

Kamara is Pig 2.0 because Kamara is basically a RB and a slot WR IMO. But since I'm a UGA fan I must say, I wish he was on their team.

Par for the course for ESPN these days it seems.

Kamara isn't a between the tackles every down back. Thus why I called him a specialist. A damn good one at that but he doesn't need to be the one taking 3-5 carries from Hurd. Kelly needs to do that IMO.

I just think Hurd would have more has left In the tank at the end of the year with a slightly lesser load. Jmo
