The defensive errors didn't start until we started going 3&out on offense against Oklahoma.

He says in the article he would be comfortable as the QB coach and had no intent on being a head coach.

The recruiting would be off the charts and I don't think he would even have to leave his office!

I will be impressed when he throws well against a decent opponent. He will have an opportunity soon. 11 interceptions since Alabama. Not impressed. Blowout losses to Memphis and Florida along with a crap performance against Vandy and A&M.

This. He's relatively inaccurate and average by SEC standards as a passer, but is a playmaker. He's the leader of the offense and puts our offense on the map, which we couldn't say before he took over.

Tennessee... nuff said
Bama had a run of failures till Saban
OSU post-Tressell... did they fire the next guy before Urban, or was he just a short-term interim?
Michigan - Carr to Rich Rod to Hoke to Harbaugh.
Oregon - Kelly, and the jury is still out right now on Helfrich
Texas - Mack Brown and the jury is still out on Strong.

He pump faked right by a Kentucky defender to move the sticks. When he has space (and sometimes when he doesn't), he can make things happen.

Incorrect. With Bray at the helm we were one of the best teams in the nation at converting 3rd down. Those teams had absolutely atrocious Defenses, but don't take away from the fact that Bray's offense-- which was basically devoid of a running threat-- was one of the most prolific in UT history.

Look for WVU to have a HC vacant spot soon. Talked to a pretty knowledgable guy this morning, that said Holgorson must win the next two games, TTech, and Tejas to keep his job til the end of the season. Either way, would most likely not be back next year regardless.

Apparently, during the TCU game, Boykin ran for a TD and Holgorson high-fived him after the play was over. What an idiot! Apparently, and rightly so, this has pissed the big money people off beyond belief.

I wouldn't hesitate a second to offer Manning a QB coach role on this staff. However, I wonder how tolerant he would be with underachieving players, either on the field or in the film room. One of the reasons he and Eli thought so highly of Cutcliffe was his innate ability to teach as much as coach.

I think he'd be good...and talk about an asset in recruiting.
