People really did discount the playmakers that were around him. Harvin, rainy, and demps were the reasons they moved up and down the field.
Even so, Chad Kelly has a top-2 WR-core in the SEC as his weapons. I'm not even saying he's bad, I actually think Kelly has played pretty darn well, but don't just ignore the best dual-threat QB in the league because he misses some routine throws. Pros do that too. The fact is, Dobbs is running the best offense we've had in probably a decade, and it's in large part because he is a great runner and a good thrower when needed.
Finally someone who is rational. You're right about him being the best dual threat qb in the league and this being one of the best offenses we've had but if he was one of the best qbs in the league then the last drives against Alabama, and Oklahoma would've ended differently.

The Alabama drive only ended because a defensive end sacked our QB after getting past a freshman RT. Not a QB in the world that could've prevented that. Oklahoma game was the culmination of many errors on the defense, coaching staff, and QB. Yes, Dobbs threw an INT. He has 3 of those this year. Chad Kelly has 12. 12. Wouldn't you argue that if he was better, then the Florida and Memphis games would've ended differently?

Lol why would it count against them? We are 11 in the power index. Ahead of FloridaThere's a thread on reddit CFB about Bama's strength of schedule. Bama fans AND Gators fans being forced to admit that their close wins over 4-4 Tennessee shouldn't count against them because the Vols are actually a great team.
Funny how they admit that when they need us to be a quality win and not a bad "almost loss."
Dobbs has limitations like all players but he is a game changing playmaker. He has done things few in CFB ever will.
Don*t think I would lay those losses on Dobbs. :hi:Finally someone who is rational.
