Feldman even mentioning Butch to VA Tech because the AD there used to be at Cincy. He does say he doesn't think it could happen though.

Lots of talk about Geoff Collins leaving UF for UCF. He is supposed to be a great recruiter and he has been solid as DC this year.

Butch really has all his media member buddies putting this out there for him knowing he's about to close out with 5 straight wins.

This is a play for an extension 100%.

As far as coaches go...I think err'body err'where is going to be getting some raises. We might as well get used to it.

This is going to be absolutely insane we you consider all of the potential moves that might happen as dominoes fall.

Butch couldn't coach on the sidelines at Bristol if he went to VA Tech.

Speaking of which... We are having this much hyped Bristol thing, looks like Beamer would have waited another year.

This being the 4th straight year with at least 5 losses after only 2 5-loss seasons during the previous 19 years, the timing may not have entirely been his own decision. The VA Tech program may be banking on the excitement of a new coach selling more tickets to Bristol than the waning product of the last few years.

And I say give it to him within reason. I think I read that he's paid something like 10th out of 12 in the SEC. He's certainly due a bump if we win out. You can throw him a nice bone without breaking the bank like Hamilton did. Progress is evident and we don't need to lose Jones now.

That said and given the connections there, I could maybe more likely see Babcock or Foster coming here should Hart make a move or Jancek land a head coaching gig somewhere.

How far out is his current contract ?

He might pull a Elway but when it get's down to crunch time in the playoff's he will have to throw the ball like the old Peyton to beat New England Brady can and will light up any defense, he is playing his best ball every and he is on a mission sense the season started, i am no Brady fan but he is playing great ball.

CBJ will receive an annual salary of $3.6 million through 2020-- the 10th highest in the SEC. He's paid more than UF's JM, though that will change.

I can see rewarding him for a Top 5-10 recruiting class. He already has an escalator for a bowl game.

@ClayTravisBGID: If JT Barrett actually pays a semester of out of state tuition at Ohio State I will donate the same amount to Michigan.

That is a joke i was sure the play would get over turned, that was just a good hard hit no way you throw a flag on that, if you are going to call that you mighty well play flag football or just 2 hand touch football they are destroying this great game, i am all for safety but that was a joke of a call now he has to sit out, just not right, in 20 year's you won't be able to hit you will be just allowed to push a player down nearly that way now, they need to look at that hit and suspend the ref that made the call in replay, this is a joke.:eek:lol:

No I'm talking about the video of him blasting that dude at full speed. Funny how not being a starter makes you play better. :)
