Outback Bowl please. Close out the regular season at 8-4 and get a bowl win to 9-4. Would be a great season this year.

CBJ at TN:
Y1: 5-7
Y2: 7-6
Y3: 9-4.

Looks like progress to me!

Wow, is this the same person that started the Crowder rumor? There is no way in hell that Richmond is going to transfer. He's a 4 year starter at LT next year.

Plus: Another big improvement this year is that the team almost won in every loss. No blow out losses. Not even losses where the game was over early in the 4th quarter. We were right there in every game until the end.

When is the last time TN had zero losses of more than 7 points in a season?

Answer: 1998 (zero losses)

(1996 was last time TN had a season that included losses, but none were more than 7 points).

Pretty impressive for this team IMO. It's been a long time around here since we have had a team that went toe to toe with every team on the schedule.

Seriously - we just came off one of our best all around performances under this team and staff, especially the D/ST. Yet, people sit here and moan about this stuff. Can't believe the complaining about Dobbs - wouldn't trade hm for many other QBs in the country let alone the SEC.

Also, Richmond isn't going anywhere.

They need UGA QB or Coker from Bama. Bet some of them would trade Dobbs for boneheaded Chad Kelly. None of those QBs would produce at Tennessee. Dak Prescott is the only one I think could produce here. But I wouldn't trade Dobbs for any of them. Even the great Cal QB had 4 picks in one game. If Dobbs did that these fans would go ballistic. I'd love to see Dobbs with his WRs healthy. He's very comfortable with Croom.

Interesting stat:

The Broncos defense through 7 games have not allowed a quarterback to throw for 300+ yards.

When your CBs dominate the game is over. Made a passing team rely on the running game. Our defense is going to be like that the rest of the year. If Sutton returns it'll be like this all of next year.

Smart to UGA wouldn't be a big surprise. Richt is looking like he might have had enough. IDT UGA would fire him this year, but he might be ready to move on and try something different. It's a gamble for UGA, though. Smart's name always pops up in coaching searches, but he's untested as a head coach. He could be a brilliant hire... or he could be a Dooley.

I am no Dobbs hater.. He is one of the most electric running QBs I have ever seen. He has way to many bad passes to be truly great though. He is very good...he could be all-time great. That is my position. Some of that could be due to not being on the same page as his receivers...I agree. We could seriously be unstoppable. I wish he was better when scrambling, at still looking to pass ala Manziel. It is what made him so good in college.

Sutton coming back would be amazing, but I don't think there's anyway he stays with a 1st or 2nd round grade from NFL scouts.

It's possible. I think guys like Sutton would love to taste sweet sweet victory on a very good team. Peyton wanted that natty. Eric Berry would have but I think he saw how crappy of a team we were fielding. Shoot he probably wanted no more of Kiffin and sure didn't want Dooley. Butch is an excellent recruiter and he can turn that swag toward Sutton.
