Mizzou - no doubt. Maty Mauk is back. Most on here make fun of him while he's the starting QB on a team that has beat us twice in a row. They have a little time to improve their offense before our game. Their D is good. UK's D is bad again.

UK did beat Missouri with Mauk at QB. He was only 15-30 for 180 yards and I think they scored 13 points. Missouri is a complete mess on offense.

He's had a pretty good year. Hasn't kicked as much as he would have liked. He's really excelled at punting. Looks like he's going to get the start Friday (hopefully). Pregame last week got off a 65 yarder that caught everyone's attention. Got in for 1 punt with 2 minutes to go in the game 42 yards no return. It was a 7 point game at the time.

Is he still working with Wilhoit? What a great time of life, I remember those days when my son was planning. Went by MUCH too fast!

No longer with James. Trains with Shane Andrus in Murray Ky. Shane played for the Colts, Bucs, and 49ers. He trained Memphis kicker considered one of the best in the NCAA.

I guess I am taking the approach of our guys beating Mizzou when it actually happens, kind of like against UF. I consider UK beating Mizzou a product of Mauk having personal issues that caused him to be suspended shortly after. I expect him to be out to prove himself.

Well - so much for the pitcher's duel. KCR broke it open. 4-1 in the 5th.

That's what Thamel was hinting at. Said it's a matter of time and Kiffin would land there. Talked about his family ties to the city.

Strange, IMO. UCF makes more sense to me but who knows.

Regardless the coaching carousel will be WILD this year.

I don't think I have ever seen this thread (or other threads like this in the past) go almost 10 hours without a post.

There was some discussion on the republican debate and the candidates. 'Twas moved to off-topic in the dark of the night. Mods thought it wasn't football talk.

And they were right. Haha

Kind of glad they did because that thread was on its last gasp and needed some air pumped into it. :)

Since my response was moved apparently - you make a good point. I just think that Maty will return with fire in his belly and improve their offense since he was suspended soon after their UK game for whatever he was doing that violated team rules. Their D is tough and the game is there.

2016 Schedule comes out tomorrow night.

Taking my tab at the schedule with a glimmer of optimism

Game 1 - App State
Game 2 - Virginia Tech*
Game 3 - Ohio
Game 4 - Florida
Game 5 - @South Carolina or Missouri
Game 6 - @Georgia
Bye
Game 7 - Alabama
Game 8 - Missouri or @South Carolina
Game 9 - Tennessee Tech
Game 10 - @Texas A&M
Game 11 - Kentucky
Game 12 - @Vandy

Hope they don't have UF, UGA and A&M all before the bye in a row....

Knowing how the SEC Office always does things and frontloads our schedule it will probably look more like this.

Oh man. A buddy I work with is freaking out if Kiffin gets the Miami job. He's from Miami a huge Cane fan. Says the program will get destroyed if they hire Kiffin. NCAA sanctions, constant cheating and he absolutely hates the guy.

Remember when everyone was excited about the guy a while back? He's flat out a cancer to any team now. Amazed at how that guy consistently fails upward. Grateful to have stability in our program now. We went through a brutal stretch..

I'm pretty sick of having the #1 SOS the first 7 games and #100 the last 5. Spread it out for crying out loud.
