A big reason Medley is trying to kick the hell out of the ball is that Butch keeps sending him out there for 50+ yarders. He's been put in a lot of bad spots this year. Not exactly good for a struggling kicker.

Ya, I think he's only missed one from under 40?

Kicker is a pressure cooker of a position.

This is mental now. I would punt or go for it from 50. If we are way ahead, I give him a shot to boost his confidence.

He would definitely get his chance against NTU. I would intentionally stall the offense against them (up by a bunch of course) for a long try.

He just needs to kick his way out of this.

It is a classic set up game for us. Hard fought battle with Bama where we lose another close one. They're coming off a bye in a Holiday home game. It is somewhat of a rivalry game and it is possible we could overlook them due to them being UK. I'm not saying it happens because I think we run all over them. It's just a classic set up game, especially in terms of spreads

UK is not off a bye

UK or Missouri game more challenging?

Mizzou - no doubt. Maty Mauk is back. Most on here make fun of him while he's the starting QB on a team that has beat us twice in a row. They have a little time to improve their offense before our game. Their D is good. UK's D is bad again.

Mauk is terrible. Their defense keeps him in games.

SIAP but this was taken by a Bama photographer after the game Saturday.

Sharing a moment bigger than football. Pretty powerful pic to me.

Mizzu because of their defense

This. And they've beat us a couple of times. Mauk is coming back and we haven't beat him, yet.

Kentucky is next most difficult due to the state of the team after losing to AL. Will Butch have them ready? He should.

We should beat them all handily and finish the season 8-4. This is where good coaching comes in and has the team ready to go on run..

Thanks...I appreciate that! I guess I should amend that to A good cause. If you specifically send it to that player's particular cause, it could encourage some tripped up violations for things like legalizing cannabis. :pinch:

I believe it actually goes into the former players support fund. I'll see if I can find that article...

Looks great volatil! How's his season going?

He's had a pretty good year. Hasn't kicked as much as he would have liked. He's really excelled at punting. Looks like he's going to get the start Friday (hopefully). Pregame last week got off a 65 yarder that caught everyone's attention. Got in for 1 punt with 2 minutes to go in the game 42 yards no return. It was a 7 point game at the time.

Taggart is getting fired? He has improved the W/L record every year he has been there.

That's what Thamel was hinting at. Said it's a matter of time and Kiffin would land there. Talked about his family ties to the city.
