Cotton bowl and Capital One bowl are the two playoff semifinal games this season.

Wait...that almost confused me. Capital One sponsors the Orange Bowl now. The former Capital One bowl played in Orlando is now the Citrus Bowl again. Just to clear up any confusion :hi:

Thanks, EZ. I should've clarified. :good!:

Local arky radio guys who are close to Gus from his time coaching here in college and and high school are saying he was forced to hire Muschamp and he fought it tooth and nail. Said when he was in town for the arky game he told several of his old coaching buddies that he'll get out before anyone has a chance to think about firing him.

Went on to say that he wouldn't be surprised at all to see Gus move to big 12 or pac 12 at the end of this season.

Could just be small town gossip, but thought it was interesting.

i think that would actually be a win win for both malzhan and auburn at this point

Volatil what's your take on Medley?

Fuad Reviz mentioned on radio show that Medley's mechanics have been off since the Arkansas game. Said he was leaning into his kicks and not trusting his leg and that was throwing off his accuracy.

Debo did his job of getting us in position to score however he can't do NOTHING about P. Williams fumbling the ball or Medley missing a short FG..............All coaches can do is put the players in position to be successful and he did that........

Just heard Marcus Spears on Paul Finebaum say he thinks UK has the talent to play with UT this weekend. Wow. I highly do not think so.

I expect a very competitive game this weekend. But think we pull away late. This is our toughest remaining game by a wide margin, imo.

It is a classic set up game for us. Hard fought battle with Bama where we lose another close one. They're coming off a bye in a Holiday home game. It is somewhat of a rivalry game and it is possible we could overlook them due to them being UK. I'm not saying it happens because I think we run all over them. It's just a classic set up game, especially in terms of spreads

His mechanics are all jacked up. I saw a picture of his follow through where his leg was pointing dead left.

I think he is trying to kill the ball. I hate that circular motion. Just like golf, you will spray it all over the course. But every now and then crush one down the middle of the fairway. He needs consistency.

I think he will fix it but in the meantime I would give Toser a look.

They are not coming off a bye. They got trounced by MissIssippi state

Outback Bowl vs. 9-3 Michigan. We blast Harbaugh and ride crazy momentum into the off-season.

That would be fantastic. I dont see any way we wouldn't be in a January Florida bowl game if we win out. Those reps love the Vols and know the Tennessee fan base is second to no one when it comes to travel/support/spending $$$. The taxslayer bowl looked pretty smart for picking us last year when everyone else had UT pegged for the Belk or Liberty.

Does anyone know what the tie breaker in the Big10 is if Ohio state, Michigan, and Michigan state all have one conference loss against each other?

They have a championship game now. Michigan and Ohio State are in the same division. Might want to add Iowa into that query.

Wait, i thought Michigan state was in that division as well, and Iowa in the other division.

Edit: yea, I'm right.
