Why in the world would he transfer? He's one snap away from being the starter. He's not transferring, unless he's homesick or something else is going on.

I'm pretty sure the scenario is for AFTER Spring. Next year everyone's even competition wise. JG should redshirt and whoever loses the backup competition between Sheriron and Dormady starts weighing options...unless they're already gone. QB spots sometimes don't get determined until Fall camp...somebody might jump the gun.

Ya I don't see any way we hang on to Jones dormady and JG, but Urban did it so who knows. More than likely someone will transfer though. Maybe Jones has been lighting it up in practice and Dormady sees it, but I'm guessing at this point it's just a dumb rumor.

And he apparently hasn't practiced with the team in the month he's been suspended.

Yep, that's what the STL Post Dispatch says. Reading Mizzou sites and their beat coverage the major problem is their OL. They can't block anyone and can't run the ball. They are 122 in rushing offense.

They lost to UK, managing only 1 td with Mauk and he was only 15-30 for 180 yards. He is terrible.

They could certainly lose to one of them and UGA could lose to UK.

That's all it takes.

USCe at home could rise up and win one for the Gipper.

I'm sure JG is going to be the bomb dot com, but all this talk about him automatically seizing the starting role year one or even year two is a bit premature. It's very possible, but let's not run off the older guys in theory just yet.

I don't think he starts until dormady and Jones are gone. He'll start as a junior at earliest imo

Mauk has beaten us the last two years. Yeah he's not a world beater, but he's certainly better than who they have had under center since he's been gone. We still should win that game, but that doesn't make it any easier. We should have won it last year also.

Yep, and it's actually the smart way to do it unless you have no other choice. The more time you have to develop physically and technically at a position like QB the better off you'll be when you do start. The only reason to start an underclassman at QB is that your upperclassmen suck.

Assuming Guarantano redshirts, Its going to be a very interesting QB battle in 2017 between Dormady and Jarrett Guarantano.

Swain just re-tweeted Sterling Henton

OH Baybee! RT @SterlThePearl16: How about a HUGE Big Orange Victory against Kentucky.....BOOM!!!

Could that give credence to the all-orange uniform speculation?
How could one possibly come to that conclusion by reading this tweet? I mean really..

Why else would Swain seem so excited about it? It's within the realm of possible conclusions that I reached. I'll be sure to run it by you next time, OK?

Eh. Mauk was the QB in those games, but he didn't 'beat us' in the sense that he had something to do with the victory. Their defense won them both games. All Mauk did was not screw it up too badly.

I'm not too bothered by the fact that he's back. Honestly Lock was scarier to me because he does have talent and there's a chance that the light comes on. There's upside there. With Mauk, there really isn't.

They have a solid defense again this year, but we've moved the ball on better defenses this year already. We shouldn't be in any danger from Missouri.

I see Hurd finishing the season at just over 1000 yds.

Why? Because he will be splitting a whole lot more carries with Kamara and probably Kelly over the next 5 games. I really don't see the coaches putting the whole load on Hurd if they don't have to.

JMO of course.

Hurd will go of in the next 5 game's the OL will improve from game to game and the defense's won't be as tough, i look for about 125 yard's a game the rest of the way.

Maybe BC another former player is calling for a big win over UK? Not sure where uniform colors were mentioned. No need to get worked up

Couldn't this also be about the annual Orange-Blue blood drive we have every year with Kentucky?

Is Kirkland the best young tackler we have had since ........?

I don't recall a better one since EB
