I agree. The only thing I think Henry has over Hurd is that he might be a step faster once he's running down hill in the open field.

Hurd has much better vision, is outstanding in pass protection and blitz pickup and is better catching out of the backfield. Despite their similarities in size, Henry is nowhere near the punishing hammer that Hurd is. He looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane.

I was shocked at how ineffective Henry was unless the Alabama line opened up a massive hole right in front of him. Dare I say, Trent Richardson 2.0?

Me too. That combination of size, speed and power Is rarely found. LF is what I imagine it would be like to create a running back on ncaa football, max out every stat to 99 and then put him in the real life SEC.

I don't see how Kentucky will stop our rushing attack saturday. They do not have the size to stuff is in the middle nor the athletes to deal with our speed when we get to the edge. We gave the best defense in the country fits when Hurd, AK and Dobbs got going east/west. I'm expecting a banner day for our offense Saturday night.

I agree Fournette is better, but I don't know that he'd be better on our team. No way to say for sure, but I don't know that Fournette would be as able to drag defenders 3 yards just to get back to the LOS over and over like Hurd does. I'd take Fournette with an average OL all day, but with a bad OL that rarely opens up a hole, I'm not sure I'd take Fournette over Hurd.

Hey, Fournette is great. And he's faster in the open field than Hurd is (I think...we don't really get to see Hurd in the open field). But I think I saw on TV where LF is averaging over 100 yards per game BEFORE contact. I realize some of that is attributable to his speed and vision, but OL gets a LOT of the credit.

Agreed. If Florida can't stop it and Bama had trouble at times then KY is in big trouble.nim also not worried about road game considering we had Florida and Bama on ropes in much more hostile environment

Not worried. Both Mizz QB's suck. They couldn't pass a cold. Will make our defense look like nothing but supermen.

Not worried at all with Mizzou.

That's very true about what Hurd deals with and it doesn't show up in the box score. I would love to see what he could do behind Alabama or LSU's line.

It's a RUMOR that I helped perpetuate by repeating it. Heard it from a poster on here who claims to know Dormady's dad. TCU fans I know think we made it up. Dormady compares to Andy Dalton but they tweaked their scheme somewhat.

I'll worry about it when someone that is actually reputable says something about it until then I think it's a bunch of BS.

Why in the world would he transfer? He's one snap away from being the starter. He's not transferring, unless he's homesick or something else is going on.
