I know Josh Dobbs hasn't exactly lit up the air with his passing ability, but Auburn?? I would be very skiddish about signing with Auburn in light of their current QB situation. If it is indeed down to UT and Auburn, I give the nodd to Tennessee.

I'm not saying that Callahan is right. I was just shocked that he said it. I would think it would be a UT/UGA battle but that is what he said or I should say what I thought I heard him say because I listen to sports radio while I am working.

Callahan also said that it was hard to get information on Davis because he was not talking to reporters and has kept things really quiet. Callahan said that he thought Auburn had the edge just based on what he had heard from some of those closer to the situation.

Although winning at least 2 of the 3 losses would have helped a great deal, I think Davis has seen that Tennessee is standing right on the threshold of being a perennial power in the SEC, again.

If Butch hadn't coached so conservatively in those 3 games, he'd have a heck of sales pitch to every 4-5* recruit we are after. Nonetheless, it has to look good to him seeing Malone played a lot as a true freshman, and now Preston Williams. He'd never have to worry about being double-teamed by defenses, as opponents will have to respect PW, JJ and JM, as well.

Since Davis is so hard to cover, I think he'd be the go-to slot WR...yes he is big for a slot receiver, but if he's got the knack for getting open, why not?

Okay. I know I was not right about that one. Got what I thought was good info and really was told he would be here. So that one I can be man enough and say that my people got some info on this kid and he wound up not coming here. We all know that the info we are given is alot of the times spot on but in the Okogie case was not. The Davis recruitment is still going our way on the 23rd. Sorry Lefteye I had some bad info man.

Well, from the sounds of it Okogie was all UT until leading right up until his decision... So now worries there. :hi:

Really hope you're right on Davis' decision. However, I think it's a big deal that his Twitter Avi is of him on his UT visit, in a UT uniform.

Thanks. It is big that he has his twitter Avi is decked out in UT. He also has been talking up UT alot since his trip. I have heard that he is a silent to us and os going public on the 23rd to announce it. I dont think he shuts it down after his announcement but if we continue to win then this one is over
