So what they saying now that we beat the same Georgia team that routed them?
But Georgia is now a much weaker team without Nick Chubb. (NOTE: The SEC moved the Georgia-Vanderbilt game to the second week of the season this year for TV reasons, instead of the seventh week, when it traditionally is played. What would have happened if Vanderbilt had faced Georgia without Nick Chubb and Isaiah McKenzie, as UT did yesterday?) Greyson Lambert just does not look like a championship QB to me.
Georgia looked bad the last two weeks. I wish we could play them again. I believe we beat them without Chubb and with the qwb having low confidence and Johnny Mc having more confidence.
Saying they wish they could have played them without Chubb like we did.
Yes. Seriously.
That's what they're saying.
Funny, I don't remember them downplaying their victory over UGA in 2013 when they played them after half the team got injured when they played us; and even then it took a comeback for them to win.
So ... is it that crazy to think:
1. 5-3 may be enough to win the division (UF is 4-0, but still has to play LSU, Georgia, and us)
2. We can go 5-3.
All starts this weekend!
Vandy 5-3 (losses to UGA, TAMU, Ole Miss)
Florida 5-3 (losses to Vandy, UGA, LSU)
UT 4-4 (losses to FL, Arkansas, Alabama, Vandy)
UGA 4-4 (losses to UT, Alabama, Auburn, Mizzou)
UK 3-5 (wins over Mizzou, SC, Auburn)
Mizzou 2-6 (wins over UGA, Arky)
SC 0-8
Congratulations to your 2015 sacrificial lamb, the Vanderbilt Commodores!!
Nothing all that unreasonable here- and it results in Vandy winning the East
There's a reason we have a near 90% probability of winning the game against Vandy according to the FPI.
Yeah, their defense is better. But we can score 14 and win comfortably. Their offense is horrendous. McCrary is a turnover machine and Ralph Webb will have nothing left by the time that game rolls around.

It's not really all that different than what you read over here though. Strip out the team names, and it is the same sunshine pumpers that set up the fire-the-coach websites when reality sets in.
