Deon Grant honored during the game. His presence a coincidence? Nah.
Hell of a coincidence but the 2 had no correlation. Also if you notice things were differentthis we by the dbs Deon worked with them and help correct some technical issues. I have a friend who played c for UGA and was with Dallas Cowboys in his he played at Tucker in GA. He absolutely hated Martinez and said technicallyhe taught the wrong and he played with Champ Bailey who said the same thing. Glad we got the big win and Neyland was rocking like old times
If he drops the UF game is he around next year?

de1, do you think Butch will replace Martinez after this year? Maybe with Terry Fair?
Isn't Martinez one of our better recruiters though?
From my laymen's perspective, I don't really see anything wrong with out DB coaching. We haven't ever really had blown assignments since Butch arrived, and technique has nothing to do with how guys like Emmanual Moseley just get smoked on go routes. Perhaps the tackling and pursuit angles could be better (especially from our safeties in the run game), but that's about it. We had one of the best pass / 3rd down defenses in the country last year, and our best player is a former 3 star recruit.
If anybody on this staff should be nervous, it's Zach Azzani. Apparently Butch stopped using his megaphone and spent a lot of practice directly coaching the wideouts last week, and lo and behold we get a lights out 312 yard performance.

The cornerbacks' techniques are a problem. Receivers are running right by them because of it, not speed. Moseley has actually gotten worse this year, and Foreman is pretty bad in man coverage. He's cost us on multiple fourth quarter plays.
